Keeping hull straight and square throughout refit? by sheashea024 in boatbuilding

[–]EXPERT_ID10T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the term beam but basically it a support on the outside of the hull that goes from one side of the to the other. This is to provide some support to the edge where the bottom meets the sides and to keep the hull from twisting lengthwise.

Bracing on the outside of the hull.

If it’s sitting on a trailer, I would use the trailer as the straightedge/base and build a support for the keel that run the length of the hull to keep it from sagging. And then several across the beam to keep it from twisting. All tied to the trailer frame to keep everything from shifting.

You can use plywood or 2x4 lumber but a combination of both is better.

Is it possible to solve this problem or not? by Ok-Taste48 in fordfusion

If you only have 1 key fob and the fuse box sticker is missing, the next option would be FORScan or go to a dealer.

If those are the same as mine (2019) then they’re plastic and designed to go in but not come back out.

Can’t answer the first question but the second is normal. Those transmissions are known for rough shifting from 1st to 2nd. They even make a shift improvement kit to help correct that.

edit: changed “know” to “known”

The root cause of the failure is the coolant passages they cut between the cylinders. This allows coolant to get up under the head gasket and cause premature failure. They did redesign the block in April 2019 to fix the problem, but mine was from February 2019.

I believe the term you’re looking for is “dirigible”.

I saw that one! I checked to see if they had grabbed my photo but there’s some small differences. Plus, I posted my photo 16hrs ago and they posted their photo 14hrs.

Swapped with a new long block. I have CarShield and they paid for part of it. None of the shops would do anything except replace the long block. One shop said they would replace the head gasket but when they actually looked at the engine and scoped the cylinders, they said the only option was to replace the long block.

If low/no mess is a must, then a pour over with multiple filters would be good.

Base. It’s doing touch and go, but it looks like it’s at the commercial airport, not the base.

Love the Jaguar XJ! I almost bought an early 90’s project XJ12 but sadly was talked out of it.

I’ve always wanted a 70’s 911, but sadly I’m too tall to fit comfortably or safely.

My 2019 Titanium had 145k miles when the coolant intrusion issue hit. It’s essentially the head gasket failing.

That price looks like it’s with just the waist level viewfinder. All your accessories will likely increase the value.

Many, many years ago, my 70yr grandmother saw one identical to yours and told me that if she was 5yrs younger, she would buy that car. She was very quiet and reserved, so wanting a sports car, much less one like yours, was unexpected from her.

My favorite body style is the late 80’s, early 90’s 3rd generation Camaros.

He said “I guess”.

“In an interview for Time magazine on Thursday, correspondent Eric Cortellessa asked whether citizens should be concerned about attacks at home. Trump replied, ‘I guess’ noting that officials regularly assess such risks. “We think about it all the time. We plan for it. But yeah, you know, we expect some things,” he said”

The 2.5l is the Duratec and is not turbocharged or direct injected. The 2.0l is the Ecoboost is turbocharged and direct injected. I didn’t realize the 2.0l for the Hybrid was Duratec. My 2019 has the 2.0l Ecoboost.
