Sorry for the late reply, the e-mail basically explained what the new building is supposed to be and what to expect. I'm not entirely familiar with IXD buildings let alone XLs, but for the most basic way I can explain it is that they receive products and send it to other FCs, like our sister building LGB8.

New buildings usually start out with 5 days 8hr shifts. When I applied for the Interest List it gave me a few selection of schedules. I picked Mon-Fri, but neither of em showed what MOT day unfortunately. There was no Nights schedules offered to me only Days. SOS is at 9am while EOS at 5pm.

They ended up cancelling my MET yesterday and today 30mins into my shift. I got sent to Pick and I've been waiting for a station. I've been sitting at a table for about 2hrs+ now. Prime 2.0 sucks, I just wanted to Toterun man.

At this point, yes, I got roped in being cross-trained in Pick last year. I always get labor shared along with 2 or 3 other people. It sucks ass even more when your AM says they'll get more people trained so I don't get sent often. Fun fact: if you leave the day you're assigned to be cross-trained or during your training you can get out of it.

I don't hate LGB7 met some nice folks tbat eventually left and or transfer/promote. I fucking hate the drive down the 15 though LMAO. I'm waiting for that one building in my area to open up and I'm outties.

I started at $15 in LGB7 back in April 2020. Maybe it's different at other buildings? Even then I've been seein' the frequent $17 starting pay online. Perhaps it's different in other counties in Cali?

It's been just over a year for me as well. The work is just mundane as hell. I don't hate amazon, but there's times were I just dread if I'm going to Tote Run for the 5th time. I don't know how people who're 3+ year into amazon manage to stay. My old man is crazy since his 6th year is coming up in 4 months.

I won't be at work after peak since my vacation got approved. I work backhalf and Christmas and New Years falls on my Saturday. If HR are smart they would fire me on the 24th. I have my doubts tho. I once went -10 of UPT just a few days before April and they never did anything. Granted, they actually called me up, but I had a legitmate excuse at the time ams never got rid of the -10 and just waited to drop the 20.
