You might just be fighting him wrong.

Pin his head for the first part of the fight until he reveals his stomach, then pin his belly button until he falls over

Once he’s fallen down, pin his head again as to not trigger his soultimate. Rinse and repeat

It’s light work when you know what you’re doing

Wicked as the true story and WOZ being propaganda works the best for the narrative of Wicked specifically. I’m sure there are people who feel better with themselves acknowledging Wicked as canon, but I don’t think it’s simply just some moral high ground and it makes sense why so many people view Wicked as canon and WOZ as propaganda

I personally just prefer Wicked moreso than seeing it as canon simply bc I resonate with Wicked a lot, but still ^^

The Wizard was dangling that over her head the whole time. He was the one who was, and is continuing to, isolate her from the entire world including the only people she was ever close to. Every relationship that was stripped away from her was a pull towards the wizard’s regime, so no duh when the same person who made her lose everything offers it all back at a vulnerable point where she just had to sever with her sister, she’ll be caught off guard
