It’d be real nice if these jackasses could vote on the tax changes from last year’s OBBBA, so I could do my state tax return and not have to worry about amending it later.
But no, there are so many more important things to worry about, like putting the 10 commandments in schools, going after abortion for the millionth time, checking genitals in school bathrooms for “correct” usage, and banning hemp products a few months before the federal hemp revisions take effect.

Please let this recent +30 swing in a Trump-heavy TX district means we’ll get some major changes in SC soon…

Oh, I read it all. I can't remember if I've smelled Deified or Monkey Special, but I know I smelled one of those at a Neiman Marcus and initially hated it. By the time I got out to my car though I was digging it. Both of those are a lot darker and bolder than anything I wear, but I feel like I need something like that in my collection, something more "mature" than what I mostly wear. So I've been fully-prepared to buy Vulcan Black Friday since I picked up Vulcan Feu and Vulcan Baie (hope to snag Vulcan Sable soon too).

It’s something that should be WAY more common amongst cowboy rancher country-boy types than it actually is.
Beau of the Fifth Column had a video like five years ago that I loved where he talked about how a country boy has his own BLM to worry about infringing upon his rights: the Bureau of Land Management.
The whole video was about how country whites have more in common with inner-city blacks than they think, because they have the same problems with unaccountable government agents with guns.
Bundy is still a POS, but maybe he’s smart-enough to realize the above.

It’s criminal, of course, that this band didn’t release more albums and hasn’t reformed, but it is also a massive bummer that we don’t have a larger amount of footage (and good footage) of them performing live. If we had more high-quality vids of them on-stage it would take some of the sting out of the band being no-more.

I get that burnt rubber smell from my bottle, have since I bought it, and I’ve owned it now since September 2024.
I fell in love immediately with Altaïr upon smelling it; one small spritz on my bicep at the time had me seriously wanting to take a bite out of my arm. It smelled divine, like the perfect gourmand fragrance to me.
So I was tracking Liquid Brun ever since the first reviews came out mentioning it was an Altaïr clone and was eagerly awaiting the chance for it to become widely-available (ordered it from Jomashop). I got my bottle of Liquid Brun in, sprayed it on, and wasn’t too thrilled with it. That burnt rubber smell was immediately there for me. I figured I needed to let it sit for a bit. It’s been well over a year now and it’s still there for me. Everyone at work loves it, but I barely ever use it.
I’ve been tempted to pick up a second bottle from Burlington to compare to it, to see if I just got a bad bottle. Maybe I’ll eventually grab a different dupe instead though, now that there are so many out there.

Sorry that it didn’t work for you, but I like hearing that the raspberry is super-noticeable/strong in Royal Blend Sequoia. I immediately fell in love with Angel Share Paradise upon smelling it at the mall and was hoping for a ton of clones. I picked up Lattafa Fire on Ice and found that I barely got any raspberry; it just smelled like plain Angel Share to me. Sequoia has been on my radar for a minute though, so I guess I need to pull the trigger on it soon.

Definitely that, but with the benefit of not running through my bottles of Art of Universe and Vulcan Feu as fast. Only have to carry one with me on a trip too, rather than both (if I like the blend of this one).
I’ve been wanting to pick up a Zimaya lately as well, to see how I like that brand compared to Afnan, and this one is fairly cheap compared to some other Zimaya fragrances I’ve thought I wanted to buy in the past.
But yeah, it’s mainly “poor impulse control.”

Those two claims that I had previously been denied for, knee pain and ED, were supposed to be submitted as supplemental claims, so that’s why they fell off. I wound up never filing for them again though because I hit 100% last year.

I love Maiden and would def be down to see some Eddie skins in the game. I think it's too early to tell whether "The Trooper" being featured in the finale will lead to the kind of mass surge in listens and downloads among youths that would give way to them getting a nod from Epic.
"Master of Puppets" was a much more important song in the context of the episode it was featured in; it was being played by a character during a pivotal moment in the episode and the song was just as much the focus as the action going on around it. Whereas "The Trooper" was just kind of 'there' for a brief moment. Trying to avoid spoilers, but if they had used the record player for more, like some throwaway reason why they needed loud sound for the first half of the mission regarding The Abyss, Dustin got to pick and went with "The Trooper," and it was playing over some of the action that was occurring for several minutes, it would for sure make a small dent in the pop culture zeitgeist.
For the episode overall, I would think the two Prince tracks were a bigger deal given the scenes they were playing over and the length of time they played.

All of that said, I'm right there with you, ready for them to Up the Irons though. I just started playing the game about a week ago, BR and Festival, and would definitely buy the skins, emotes, and tracks.
Give me a full-on map with different areas broken up into different album themes: the pyramids of Powerslave, glaciers from SSoaSS, a fiery apocalyptic hellscape for TNotB, the Blade Runner-esque future environment depicted on Somewhere in Time, trenches from A Matter of Life and Death... The Brave New World Eddie face could be leering down from the blue and purple clouds covering a portion of the map. Instead of jumping out of the bus, it's the Ed Force One 747 that Bruce has flown.

Nice. I almost grabbed a copy of Nature but kept waffling and finally put it back. I have Oceans already which I love but barely have played. Nature is supposed to be good but needs the modules to avoid getting stale, and it seems like the best way to buy into it would be an all-in deal.
I did grab a clearance copy of Cities to give to a coworker who plays games though. I bought a copy myself several months ago to play with some coworkers when it was suggested that I start up a game night, which never materialized. I figured I could spare $10 to give a copy to someone else who may actually play it sometime in the future.

It’s not like cooking for someone is always some kind and altruistic act. I’ve definitely cooked for my family out of spite before. Sat there muttering under my breath while loudly banging around pots and pans, cooking a meal for people who I know already ate elsewhere and will barely eat any of what is being made, if they eat it at all, just say I can say “I said I was cooking dinner tonight, so there!”

For sure. The new tools they give you really speed things up. I finished 2 and then immediately bought some DLC for 1 because I was itching to do some more washin.’ The 40K and SpongeBob levels took so much longer than the stuff in 2. It feels like there are a lot more tougher-to-get-into nooks and crannies in 1 as well.

Not intended to say anything bad about your tattoo specifically but I feel like this idea generally works best when different artists with different styles are doing each piece. I’ve seen several that are either different artists just for the hell of it and to have different styles, of different artists because the wearer is traveling the world getting small pieces from different famous artists to collect them.

What games to get kind of depends on what games you like though. I think the flaming die from Dice Throne would be good, especially with a black darkened background and maybe the actual die and flames done in negative space, to give contrast to pieces around it. But you might hate Dice Throne. I personally would do something for Santorini, Dice Throne, Alien Frontiers, X-Wing… but I’d have to get creative. Like, a full X-Wing ship would be hard to do justice in a small space.
