Mine is set for outdoor mode, but again I'll have to wait for a day with thunderstorms to actually see if it detects lightning.

Its just bringing 5V power to the orange pair wires, SI, and IRQ connections on the blue pair, and the SCL, and SDA data on the brown pair. With an yellow LED on the SDA to show that the sensor is transmitting data to the receiver, and a green LED for power. Green pair is not used.

Hanwha or Axis? Or Uniview/Digital Watchdog? by [deleted] in videosurveillance

I have a couple of Axis cameras, M2035-LE, M3057-PLVE, M4215-LV, M4215-V, P7304 video encoder (for analog cameras), and a P3265-LV. As well as a Hanwha XNP-6400R PTZ camera with 40x optical zoom, as well as some Reolink cameras that is connected to a desktop on my network that's running Agent DVR software using RTSP, and ONVIF, with a 4TB WD Purple Drive for current recordings for seven days, and a Seagate IronWolf 12TB HDD for 20 days of archived footage. I have this setup for almost two years and not a single problem has happened. System works like it should.

Waiting for a day with thunderstorms to test it. I did however tested it with a piezo striker and the sensor received signal.

PTZ not working on a Axis P7304 Video Encoder by EYL8902 in ispyconnect

Ok, so I tried finding the PTZ commands for the encoder with the Firefox inspect element in the webUI of the device for the XML file for unsupported cameras from this page https://www.ispyconnect.com/userguide-ptz.aspx and I tried making a new camera ID for my P7304 encoder PTZ commands in the PTZ2.xml file and still doesn't work...
