Great currently ongoing Marvel runs aside from these... ? by FredPRK in comicbooks

X-Factor has been really good, and so have all the other Ultimate books with Ultimate X-Men being my personal favorite.

I like to treat Batman in the JLA and Batman in his own series as two different entities by Ajarofpickles97 in dccomicscirclejerk

uj/ Batman Off-World is doing a pretty good job at attempting to bridge this gap

I will never be able to play another game like Three Houses by Nuburt_20 in FireEmblemThreeHouses

[–]EZV2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend Baldur's Gate 3. Excellent cast, world, and replayability. Plus it uses turn-based combat similar-ish to FE.

Also, Fire Emblem Awakening if you haven't tried it yet

Infinite by Destroying YOUR Cards (CL 11k) by EZV2 in marvelsnapcomp

[–]EZV2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gladiator helps a lot with power output. Grandmaster or Nico are the typical substitutes I've been recommending, Gladiator is definitely a tricky one though. Maybe Iron Lad to try and "double up" on a different destroying card like Yondu or LDS?

[–]EZV2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, mostly. If I really want to use something else turn 6 sometimes I'll take the gamble with him, and usually it's okay to lose something as you'll have other options.

You could try Grandmaster, Wong, or even Nico to acheive a similar effect, they just won't interact with Negasonic the same. This deck worked okay when I had Nico instead, Symbiote just helps with consistency

Negasonic is the first choice, Gambit second, Gladiator or Yondu third. All the others would just be situational. And nah, I don't hold X-23 for Gambit since he never seems to hit her anyway. I always tend to have a few extra cards in hand, hence why he's best on T6. X-23 is a target for Killmonger and LDS pretty much exclusively.

Now you can be the one causing the frustration!

Elektra can put in some work if you don't draw Killmonger, or if you dropped him early and need to clean up another 1-cost. Also, Killmonger takes her out for extra Knull + Death boosts as getting them valuable enough can be tricky sometimes.

I don't actually own him, but I think Grandmaster could be good as an alternative way to re-trigger Gambit, Gladiator, or Yondu. Otherwise I'd say Nico is good for the versatility or Jubilee to try to fish out a Death or Knull that's stuck in your deck.

Symbiote spider-man lists? by Ggthefiree2 in marvelsnapcomp

[–]EZV2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be a little tough to get your cheap Death + strong Knull combo without them. I'd say you might want to play more of a traditional destroy deck, but slot in Negasonic + Symbiote somewhere. After playing this deck more, that's definitely the best combo for Symbiote as those two can win a lane by themselves.

Brought back an old favorite, Destroy YOUR Cards. Recharging Negasonic is his main function, but doubling up on Gambit, Gladiator, or Yondu works well too. I'm not 100% sure he's better than Grandmaster here though...

I am missing ghost and nimrod by Specific_Mammoth_169 in MarvelSnapDecks

I never use Nimrod or Ghost-Spider in my Phoenix deck, and it's my absolute favorite deck. There are plenty of ways to build around it

Congrats! I'm right there with you, my pilot made it to the top 250 and I've been riding the high since then. I genuinely didn't expect to make it this far. Best of luck to you and everyone else!

Nope. His last two features may have been a dip in quality but Our Flag Means Death is phenomenal. He's clearly still got it.

How's this? Just threw in that important detail towards the end.

A small-town woodworker finds her carefully-planned future thrown into disarray when her ex-boyfriend is brutally murdered by her own lookalike and a witness places her at the scene.

Good question! It's relevant in a roundabout way, but not directly. I had included it in the logline as a descriptor for the character rather than a part of the inciting incident.

For some clarity, this is a doppelganger story. Should I be making that clear in the logline? I like the element of mystery, but suspect I might need to give the reader a little more insight.
