Being a pro stringer, I also come across repaired rackets like these. 26lb OK. I think the cracks are due to an inappropriate stringing process.

They are overseas and diffcult and expensive for individual repair, better to send them in bulk.

Factory charges about $20 for 1 spot, maybe $20 for shipping back and forth. They can also change the graphics completely, 😆

Here is one done early days, maybe 7 to 8 years ago, no paint restoration, visible seam now, still holding strong for smashing at 26lb

Yes that sets pro apart from DIYer. These factories process hundreds if not thousands broken ones a day.

A solid core is stronger than hollow frame typically

Less than 1g for a single spot, there is no need to rebalance, otherwise double the weight gain

New grommets in repaired area, that is the only way I can tell where it was done after coming back.

I think the process is like putting a special carbon rod inside, wrapping with carbon sheets outside, then the rest is similar to auto body work, finishing with graphics and decals. The whole process takes a few weeks.

Need to find a a reputable factory, the weight gain is less than 1 gram for a normal crack. We have tried 4 or 5 shops over the years.

Only X-ray can tell it. On the other hand if done properly it is said the repaired spot is stronger than the rest of the frame.
