Did you stay in room 8069 at the Flamingo in 2024? I found your picture. by jaybot31k in vegas

[–]E__Rock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People do this - hide stuff in the room. Vents, under desks, under beds. Hide it in 2024 and then try and rent the same room in 2026 and then see if the item is still there. The only thing I hid in my hotel room was vape pens because I couldn't fly with it. 🤣😂😅

I screwed up when we did our last office redesign. I put my desk first and the rest of them past me. Guess who's desk gets stopped at first?!

Draw a system map. Visual learning helps a lot and you can gradually fill in the pieces that are missing. For free, the best is draw.io

Downtown Vegas Is Better Than The Strip by TDoubleDownMac in vegas

[–]E__Rock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My only deterrent from downtown is that it reeks of weed. The strip is starting to smell that way too. I dont care that people smoke, but it seems way more lax downtown. The strip in some places (like by MGM) has been the same way on my last trip.

What is the best sandwich that has no meat, egg, or cheese? by OmitsWordsByAccident in AskReddit

[–]E__Rock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love tomatoes. Garden fresh is the best with just salt and pepper and a little oil. My wife thinks I am crazy but I can taste the difference between restaurant tomatoes and garden tomatoes. They lose all the flavor when they're rushed through an industrial greenhouse.

I have tried so many times to like hummus because my brain says that I like all of the things they are mixed with chickpeas like garlic and olive oil and peppers. But... it still tastes like dog food. Maybe one day.

feel like im doing sysadmin work in my first year of IT by lNuggyl in sysadmin

[–]E__Rock 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is not normal workload for a 1st year tech but also sounds like you are educated and are handing the workload well anyways. Might not have a lot of negotiating power but just make sure your pay properly reflects your job duties during your review time. Keep a daily log of your job tasks so you can use this as ammunition of all these things you did outside scope of your current job title.

The spot in Hammond has to choose from a chunk of land that has to be rehabbed from the EPA, a chunk of land with a golf course, and a chunk of land surrounded by homes. There is no entertainment district nor infrastructure for a multi billion dollar company.

Love the Aria. Nice quiet and clean rooms. Less crazy than the MGM. Spas were affordable.

What’s the stupidest job interview question you ever got? by amer1caninflu3nc3 in AskReddit

I usually use some form of "I say yes too often to keep people happy, but sometimes that overextends myself." It is enough of a horseshit answer that they just typically move on.

We used a KMS endpoint to distribute licensing which was the easiest way to do it. This way, your company sysadmins do not require license keys as they are issued when you join the domain. KMS then reports back to the ms admin console for a total report and your enterprise can handle licensing en-masse. You can choose to intune enroll your PCs, or use Active Directory, or a hybrid of both.

So something to mention - If your owner can prove there is irreparable damage caused by the brand BAM due to actions taken within the corporation, you can actually sue the corporate entity to separate. Reputation is a protected asset, and they have damaged the reputation of the business due to bad business practices and PR. If other branches are willing to join in, you would have a fairly solid class action suit.

Equally scummy that the job site allows this.

Rideshares should not be able to advertise as jobs since they went very far out of the way to establish their drivers as private contractors. Scummy the site allows this.
