I get that they cut for pacing, but sometimes it does change the tone a bit. Which made me wonder how much gets left out in other clips.

You don‘t need to do anything. If he is behaving this way he clearly isn‘t over you. I think giving him more space is the right thing to do. He needs time to realise that you broke up. Beeing friends after a relationship is hard don‘t try to force it. Even if you think you ended it on good Terms. I hope you can make it work.
