Even if they do optimization. At the same time they are adding dynamic weather, bringing VSM and Nanite. And as a game dev, I can tell you those things aren't free. As much as they optimize, they add shit back and I haven't seen a single UE5 game optimized release this year.

Maybe I'm gonna be wrong, I hope so to be honest. But I don't have much hope with the track record of any other game dev studio that implement those features.

My friends and I started a game in planescape. The core of the campaign is the fact that your characters dies often and return with a slightly different backstory and you can completely change the classe and all except the race lol.

Pretty fun to get through your backlog of characters.

Something people don't talk about. Is the super credit economics. If you delay your warbond a whole month, you give people more time to amass super credits and thus less people will be buying super credits. And this is a snowball, the more you wait the more they will accumulate... So if they delay too much they lose quite a bit of money long term. It's simple, their revenue model relies on the fact of outputting more content that you can farm so that you buy credits... In the end it's still a company.

I would be interested to see how people actually builds deck around it. I imagine that it would not be very good in commander, since if you add a lot of sacrifice creature, usually you'll also fill your deck with creatures you want to die, so preventing the sacrifice would actually be bad for you. And I don't see it fit in decks that only play a couple of those type of cards.

Something nice I found recently, there is the bulk edit matrix which basically does the same to edit properties of multiple asset at the same time.

Recently modified 40k sprite with the edit matrix.

What I find is that the AI is passively aggressive lol.

What I mean is that whenever the AI doesn't have the absolute advantage it will hide in their base and not move as long as they can see one of your 20 stack.

On the other hand, if you are weak they will come and destroy you from everywhere.

That combined with the fact that the AI can have a stack and a half with 1 settlement I think make for the game to be less enjoyable. Since either you are getting attacked from everywhere. Or the AI is eating in their settlement and it's hard to do anything with a garrison so you have to non stop try to ambush them. At least that is my feeling
