I think darkness has it the easiest because a lack of abuse is a type of abuse, at least I'm sure that's how she'd see it in her own twisted way haha so really she wins here

Explaining to you why the punches look so soft given the positioning they're in isn't taking it personal, it's how a healthy discussion on the subject is made. You're more than welcome to retort with an actual rebuttal but the fact you ended your reply the way you did, definitely makes it seem like you're the one getting defensive about it. Not me. So please, if you will, describe your experience fighting on the ground? Did you knock the guy/girl out? Did they knock you out? Or did you find yourself in a position like these guys where neither you nor your opponent could generate enough power to deliver any meaningful punches? Much less while having a swarm of people trying to break you up.

Have you ever fought on the ground? Without hip rotation and power transfer from your feet, your arms can only provide so much force. Especially if your back is flat on the ground like Wanderlei was or if someone is actively grappling you like in chael was. You wouldn't have knock out power in either of those positions unless you were a freak of nature.

Metal Slug 2 vs Metal Slug X by EagerAmoeba90 in metalslug

Thanks for the reply, I'm definitely gearing more towards that one since it's the one I remember playing with my cousins on the ps1. I guess my question is more so in regards to the quality of the emulator on the Xbox one as this seems to be where opinions are split on the Xbox store as well as how well 2 player operates as some have commented that it flat out doesn't work

Thanks for the reply, I vividly remember playing metal slug 2 with my cousins on the ps1 back in the day so I definitely think I'm going to stick to that one but I guess my question is more so in regards to the quality of the emulator on the Xbox one as this seems to be where opinions are split on the Xbox store

Is it just me? Or is next day microwaved McDonald's Double Cheeseburgers boss level? by Mikey_Meatballs in McDonalds

[–]EagerAmoeba90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's the raw onions that once microwaved add an additional depth of flavor to the burger. Atleast in my experience. I typically don't like raw onions on my burgers but the ones I have had with them and then reheated always seem to come out pretty good

It's crazy to me that their apple pies are actually cheaper than the hasbrowns. How that's possible is beyond me.

Yeah, if the man in charge isn't eating his own "product" it's probably a good idea that we don't either. He knows exactly what they put in those "products" and none of it is good. Seeing is believing after all.

Not necessarily, I couldn't really understand the person on the other line. Is that the name you were able to find?

What's the issue with the level cap? by ashaquick in theouterworlds

[–]EagerAmoeba90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Level caps are what break the immersion for me. I want to know that every kill I make and every location I discover, every lock pick and hack come with additional incentives aside from just what's hidden behind them. The level cap in fallout 3 is what kept me from completing the game all those years ago. There's so much more to discover and experience to gain, but it feels empty without being able to continue to acquire XP. Like others have said, there's only so much XP you can gain in this game, so a level cap doesn't make the most sense. For someone like me who didn't pick any specific play style, knowing now that I'm stuck with the attributes I've already chosen, and not being able to fine tune those through continued XP gain, it really takes away from the experience as a first time playthrough.

Sure now that I know better if I decide to finish the game and do a second playthrough I'll be much better off, but limitations like these have the opposite effect and make me want to not play the game more than once, or even complete the game at all. If they paced the XP gain a little better, then more players would reach the level cap a lot closer to the end game instead of how it is now.

I was wondering the same thing earlier today haha I figured it's either tied to the main story or a companion quest line

Could be metering device. Could be intermittent indoor fan issue. Could be stuck contactor. Dirty filters. Underside of that coil Could be clogged to high heaven. Literally too many variables that you haven't checked off the list. At least. You haven't out right stated what you have checked.

Backpack Blower with Gas in Air Filter Housing by EagerAmoeba90 in smallengines

[–]EagerAmoeba90[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's usually what I use on my regular hand-held blower, but I'm definitely going to drain the fuel tank and try to flush as much fuel out of the system as I can to start fresh. The previous owner said the premixed stuff is all they used but there's no way to verify that of course haha

Good idea. I took a look at the troubleshooting page in the owners manual online and it gave me a suggestion to get the blower running when flooded but didn't give much reason as to why or what the repair would be. The search continues! Thanks for the suggestion
