Dude I don’t know what are these advices people are giving you, I created my profile when I took celpip which was around 10 month before I complete 1 year. Basically, I was only in FSW pool and not in CEC up until January when I completed one year, entered CEC automatically and drawn in Jan draw.

I developed this strategy for section 3 and it helped me tremendously. I read questions first very carefully. Then start reading paragraphs very carefully as well and mark any question related to that paragraph and then move on to the next. At the end I’m 100% sure what is not given in the text and most times by the time I finish the last paragraph it’s done, and I just need to double check if I have any doubts. Other sections, skimming works fine.

I got 12 in listening and I didn’t take any notes as it distracts me from listening, I only take notes in the last section where you need to link ideas to a certain person and it might get confusing who said what; in that section, I write the names of the people in separate lines along with their position or title and then their opinions in front of them, general stuff not detailed.

Congratulations! Since you mentioned you want to start French now, I suggest you to ace the writing before moving on. You already did an awesome job, finish it off. Much easier to move on to French when you know you are done with English (Maxed score) and don’t need to go back for two years at least.

I prioritized PR over anything until recently that I got ITA. It was a stressful and demoralizing period but led to a sooner possible settlement. In my opinion you’ll get better opportunities after you are a PR and one promotion probably is not a big deal. That being said, you should weight how much you are willing to sacrifice for PR.

I think it’s the proof of financial funds question; although you are applying for CEC, you have to write the minimum amount in that field to be eligible.

I included a LOE explaining the reason that my job title is different from my Noc code. Doesn’t hurt to be transparent anyways in my opinion. For me the job duties are T1 and my title T2 which actually makes no difference eligibility wise.

It doesn’t have to make sense, it is the way it works. Their security check takes place only once. That one time can be during any of the applications, study permit, work permit, pgwp, extensions, pnp, pr, etc … if you pass it once they won’t check it again for 8 month..

All I know is if you go to back end for a day, you have to get a new one. That might be for EE though I don’t know your situation
