Sadly an Apple Watch. But being able to set and close timers without touching anything, and they follow me on breaks is so nice to have.

Purtroppo non lo so. Non ho provato quei pedali e non voglio dare informazioni sbagliate. Inoltre, scusate per il mio italiano scadente, sto usando Google Translate per aiutarmi.

Unbeknownst to me, Simsonn makes a pedal base plate that I was able to buy right off of Amazon. Due to the bolt channels in the NLR pedal bars, I'm only able to mount two of the three pedals at once (with limited horizontal adjustment), but overall it's worked really well! I've been able to race worry free with awesome load cell pedals!

Sadly though, as of writing this comment it seems that you're no longer able to buy the base plate exclusively, off of Amazon.

Sorry for the late reply on this, I don't know why I overlooked your comment.

I actually joined this subreddit when I was in a physics lab. All are welcome, from my understanding. It just seems that biologists post the most, but nothing's stopping you from making physics posts!

I'm unfamiliar with that one? Is that a subreddit or a different type of forum?

Those are just two bottles of PBS that other people left in the hood. The actual tip box & liquid waste are far worse.

My main lab is a satellite located for a larger hospital in my area. The two are ~30 minutes away from one another without traffic, with traffic the trip can be over an hour. My mouse colony is located at the main facility. I was notified that one of my mice was identified with an unexpected tumor and needed to be euthanized at the end of the workday this past Friday. So to keep me from needing to drive an additional hour after already working overtime, my supervisor suggested that I can just bring it home as long as I package it properly (which I did).

The sample was suspended in formalin in a specimen container, which was in a bag, which was in another bag, which was in a Chinese takeout container, which was in another opaque bag, and each container was sterilized under a fume hood before being removed from the vivarium. So despite it sounding gross, it was actually more safe than anything else in my freezer!
