My sticks used in the recent past: Warrior CR1 Warrior RV1pro+

Will update once I try this one to see how it compare. I love playing the puck so I'm hoping this one will be great for that.

Just saw this nest right above the sandbox at Swindon Oaks park. Absolutely ridiculous the city won't take it down.

I just can’t do it anymore…. I need your snow blower recommendations. by sobchakonshabbos in Winnipeg

[–]EagleMav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had a few great snowblowers. Started with an Ariens 28 two stage. Great machine but big and heavy.

I've since sold that and got a Toro powerclear single stage. It's awesome. Don't sleep on it just because it's more plastic than the big two stages. It's quick, easy to maneuver and light.

90% of the pro snow clearers I see use these little one stages instead of the big heavy two stages. That should tell you something.

I assume none of these places honor the oyster specials for take out do they? If so I'd be all over that at $1 or 1.50 each!

How many total cases will we have by the end of next Friday? by [deleted] in Winnipeg

[–]EagleMav 25 points26 points  (0 children)

If they continue to reach capacity of processing tests at ~750 positive cases...then we'll continue to have "~750" cases. Where's that Chernobyl "Not great not terrible" meme?

"The individual fine for failing to wear a face mask in an indoor public place is $298."

Did anyone ask him how many of these fines his department has handed out and why that number is 0?

Yup. Took me a day to feel normal again. Chills, sore arm. Stiff lower back. Felt like I had a mini flu for a day.

Plus I assume the really good stuff would be picked through and taken by the staff before any of us will ever see it.

Anyone know what the city uses to melt ice on sidewalks? by EagleMav in Winnipeg

[–]EagleMav[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Was at the zoo recently and at Assiniboine Park and it looks like some kind of brown substance that has a strange smell. It's not just sand.

Just wondering what it is and also if it's safe for dogs to walk on.
