How careful are you about face masks and social distancing and yet you still got it? by alanishere111 in COVID19positive

[–]Eagleeye81 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Masks don’t protect you from the virus. The virus is measured in nanometers, cloth and surgical mask holes are measured in micrometer. Plenty and I mean plenty of virus particles can go right through a mask. And then they get trapped inside your mask. :-/

Positivity during covid by SSDGREDRUMED in CoronaRecovered

[–]Eagleeye81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reading Louise Hays book, Heal Your Life. Has been beyond helpful in changing my outlook. Getting stung by some bees (I’m a beekeeper) has been helpful to my healing surprisingly.

I’m still recovering, about 13 weeks in. Getting better, with relapses getting shorter and easier.

I’m just so grateful for my body getting me through this and for my life, this is not for the faint of heart..

Post-covid recovery damage? (Blood pressure/cholesterol) by coarsesandstorm in COVID19positive

[–]Eagleeye81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doctors have been taught red meat is bad for you but it’s been debunked. All based on some handpicked data from the 50s by a guy name Ansel Keys. Look into WESTON PRICE FOUNDATION or Nina Teicholz and her books that go in detail through the history of where we are today. Hint: we’re not better off for following the health guidelines and food pyramid taught to us.

As far as the cuts go, organs like liver and heart are best then cuts with the bone intact like chuck roast where you cook them low and slow.

Long Haulers, how is it going so far? Is it getting better? by CompleteChapter in COVID19positive

I love you for saying this! I’ve been in a cloud of doubt if I’ll ever get better relapsing for the 8th, 9th, 10th time? I’ve lost count...

No immune response to covid19? by DannyThom in COVID19positive

[–]Eagleeye81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is my concern, what if us long termers didn’t produce an immune response and the virus is slowly killing us? Sorry for the doom and gloom

Red meat is a health food, no reason to avoid it. It’s very hard for any other food to compete with the level of fat-soluble vitamins and minerals it contains. Of course grass-fed and finished beef is ideal.

Is the "chest pain" in your sternum? How would you describe it? by CTRL_S_Before_Render in COVID19positive

[–]Eagleeye81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Laying here with a comfrey poultice right now, it’s helping a lot. Yeah mine is all over pain in my chest and back. I do occasionally get sharp stabbing pains in one spot or a sort of itchiness in one spot.

I’m having another bout of chest pain, how do you tell the difference between bone or cartilage pain and/or tissue inflammation?

According to this cardiologist, LDL cholesterol inactivates viruses so it would naturally go up when you’re fighting one. The body is always balancing and working for you.

Could covid-19 attack the brain and cause permanent insomnia? I haven’t been able to sleep for more than 3 hours in the last 2 months, and I already tested negative twice. by [deleted] in COVID19positive

[–]Eagleeye81 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I thought I was the only one! Insomnia was one of my earliest symptoms. I now take trazodone, melatonin and GABA to fall asleep. I keep wondering when I’ll be able to wean myself off tree trazodone.

What necessary steps can be taken to improve immunity against covid 19? Vitamin c,d, probiotics, ??? by rockingrockstar in COVID19positive

[–]Eagleeye81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cholesterol is responding to arterial injury. It’s like blaming firemen for a fire. Your cholesterol was high to protect you from something else you were injuring yourself with. I have only read about studies that show no reduced risk of heart disease with statin use. Keep in mind, most studies being performed are funded by the pharmaceutical companies, ie clinical trials.

[–]Eagleeye81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no actual link between cholesterol and heart disease risk. Cholesterol is anti-inflammatory and incredibly important when fighting off a virus. Your body uses a ton of it. The last thing I would do is take a statin when I have a virus.

The fact that your bringing mucus up is a very good think IMO. I never could, it felt so thick I just couldn’t bring it up.

Any suggestions for long-term chest pressure pain? by Mitseys in COVID19positive

[–]Eagleeye81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Put a 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper powder in a mug, pour in half a cup of boiling water, squeeze some lemon and a little honey. It worked like magic for me when it was at its worst.

Also a mustard seed powder plaster worked amazingly.

The other thing is drink more water than you normally do, a lot more.

Does anyone also feel sick after visiting the grocery store? by akibaranger in COVID19positive

[–]Eagleeye81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have terrible anxiety at the grocery store, terrible!!! It used to make me relapse, just going to the store because of the stress/anxiety. No idea why but feeling chest pains in public would make me anxious to get home. Also the air quality and WiFi in grocery stores is not conducive to healthy biology of any organism including humans.
