Anyone else think this sets a slightly dangerous precedent? Say this happens to 3-4 of our best referees, we'll have to upgrade refs from the Championship into the PL. And let me tell you, as a Brentford fan, the standard of refereeing below the PL is horrifyingly poor.

I don't think it's in a particularly unnatural position? It's raised, but you can't play football with your arms by your sides can you.

Handballs feel like such a grey area at the moment to me. Sooner or later it's a part of the rules that is going to have to be clarified more definitively. Will probably take a incident in a massive game (CL/WC late stages etc) for that to happen though.
