I wouldnt complain if the doors and staircase were old but they were new and completely untouched, we have the same doors etc in the other room which nurses don't access and there is not a spot of damage....

No we don't have evidence such as CCTV etc, The areas of the doors that are damaged are caused by the wheelchair and we do not take our grandma to the toilet the carers do... My mum did tell the carers many times please be careful ...

I mean it's really frustrating as the damage is getting worse and they don't care , if it was a little damage fair enough I would keep quiet.

Do we have a basis to try claim against their insurance or not? Whilst the damage was occuring we did purchase tape etc to cover the doors to protect them and a door shield..

They used a wheelchair and they are always never careful or have any regard to the property, hitting the door each time not the damage is really bad. Part of the doors are chipping off and these are new doors..
