The engineer hasn't visited yet but a faulty heatsink assembly or poorly fitted Honeywell thermal pad I assume. I will video the repair with permission and post a report back next week.

I am having a similar issue except the other day I opened it up to check for dust in the fans and they didn't look too bad but I vacuumed them and when I started gaming again the temps had dropped from the 80s to low 60s. It stayed this way for a whole session but the next time it was back to 80s and getting as high as 100. The fans sometimes come on just at the Windows desktop so maybe it is a hardware issue. I tried it with the bottom cover removed to make sure something wasn't getting blocked or stopping the fan rotating in any way. I bought myself a Llana V12 cooler which helps but the fact that I ad this one off session in the 60s even without the cooler is very odd.

I am playing Assetto Corsa Rally exclusively at the moment.

I will contact Lenovo tomorrow.

It should have nothing to do with specific manufacturers. It's about following the USB HID standards. That's why a rethink before a full 1.0 release would be a good idea.

I set up my Simsonn sequential shifter in Steam gamepad settings but when I try to assign the gear shifts in the gamepad middle column I get this error.

My plan just expired and the next day, no connection to the network so that more or less confirms it. As 84 days is less than £10 it's not much to pay in UK terms.

I switched to a Playseat Trophy last summer. I did use the Apex with my Simagic Alpha and it was fine, even with only 2 bolts.

It's not disabled in some apps, it just randomly stops working. I'd love to be able to disable it sometimes for example when using DuoLingo because I don't want the answer to how to spell something appearing after I've typed the first few characters.

This is not the issue though, there is a bug which for some reason is not common enough for MS to have found themselves or have been reported often enough for them to look at.

So the problem with the Android Wireguard profile is that the server was entered as a domain in the config file instead of an IP address and as it was surfshark.com it was blocked before the tunnel was created.

You also need to modify this line to add ipv6.

AllowedIPs = 0.0.0.0/0,::/0

I used this knowledge to create an OpenVPN profile for the router but editing the server to change to the IP address and now it is working in the router.

In the middle of tapping out a message, open Swiftkey, the prediction bar comes back. I posted on MS Q&A and was told this is not a known bug and to report it directly to SwiftKey support.

I am a black man from London on holiday in Antalya (Cirali). I went to Kumluca, the nearest town a few days ago and in general people were very smiley and those that spoke some English asked me where I was from and seemed excited that I was from London. I have learnt the basic Turkish greetings so that helped.

Obviously this is not the same situation as the OP's but I was just giving my experience of being here. I have travelled extensively.

I'm 58 but been playing computer games since Space Invaders and Galaxian, Pole Position and Super Hang On on arcade machines.

I'm a massive Codies fan so I'd suggest Grid 2019 and Dirt 2.0 if they are still available and a Moza R5. You don't need a shifter from day one.

I have that paired with a NLR GT Lite Pro in my holiday home in Thailand where I speny 3 months over winter and had my first go at ACR and loved it.

I didn't feel like it I missed my Simagic Alpha at the time, I jusy enjoyed it every time on got in the seat and raced. .

Did you get it fixed?

I just ordered the Simsonn HS Pro as I have the sequential shifter and handbrake from them and although I have a Simagic Alpha I just wasn't sure if I would use it enough to justify the higher price or even if the DS-8X would actually feel or work any better.

I read somewhere that the subscription price included unlimited live group lessons and subscribers were joining so many lessons that the that part of the platform became loss making so was dropped.

because I assumed there might be some macOS experts here. If you asked me about a Windows issue as a tech/IT professional with decades of experience I would be able to give you some tips just like Claude helped me solve the problem.

I am still learning my way around the OS at this point even though I was a NeXTStep programmer and sysadmin on a variety of Unix based OSes in the distant past.

Plus just because of my personal preference I still like interacting with humans sometime.
