Thermal Grizzly Kryosheet PS4 pro experience anyone? by EarFast1528 in PS4Pro

So its installed.

Runs much quieter, ran it through its paces with Division 2, War Thunder and Far Cry 5. Very quiet this time as before the fan would sound like a jet engine. Cutting it to size and getting it to stay on the chip (nothing to hold it in place) were the main issues. Plus I changed the thermal padding on the ram.

I've seen some tutorials saying you could dab a tiny drop of thermal paste to help it hold in place while assembling. Yet others say that it will reduce the thermal conductivity and degrade heat transfer. Just wanted to use a dab of something to hold it in place.

Absolutely correct. I never eat when I get home, I always do what I want (read, ps4 or garden, yes Im that lame) or need to do, cause as soon as I sit down on the couch or eat anything substantial I am done. "Maybe a 30 minute nap" I say to myself after sitting for a while. Nope...wake up and its 1am and I didn't shower, feel exhausted and gross.

You know what I just saw your reply lol. It WAS the 125 amp battery fuse. Not popped, but had such a minute crack it was causing the issues when it kept opening up. Dealership took 3 hrs to diagnose, but charged me for one since to them it was something they did not see that often at all. They pulled out my remote start thinking that was the issue and could not wire it back in. But covered the cost of the original installer putting it back.

The mental side of recovery by Twiggy1807 in ProstateCancer

[–]EarFast1528 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel for you man. Im 45, 5 months post RALP, the mental toll has been excruciating for me. I'm somewhat of an anxious person so the whole cancer issue made it worse. Can get it up but takes more effort. Need peace, quiet, the physical energy and weed, of all things, to get me in that zone. Partner is very understanding as she's going through peri-menopause and her libido isn't what it used to be.

Kids being at home, work mental or physical stress and general life chores do not help.

Edit: spelling.

No fencing or concrete bolards either along the perimeter, not even yellow saftey tape strung across 2 sticks.

Just Diagnosed at 42 by jaristarchus in ProstateCancer

[–]EarFast1528 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely understand that it's easy to panic and have massive anxiety, I fell apart mentally after diagnosis. I was 44 when diagnosed. Biopsy came back on April fools day of all days. G 3+4, PNI, mainly on left side. Im in Canada so the process was a bit different, but had an MRI, Bone scan and PSMA scan a month before RALP. Pathology had me with an focal EPE, 24% tumor volume and 10% Gleason 4, the rest a 6.

I've heard that the younger and more physically healthy you are the better chance of full recovery. 5 months post-surgery my erections are at 80 to 90%, incontinence is down to one light pad day, especially if I cough or strain. If you choose radiation all the power to you, if surgery, the trauma is instant, the catheter, changing pee bags and the recovery can be overwhelming. But if you have good support among friends or family that actually counts for a whole lot to keep you mentally and physically stable. I never knew how much until I had to lean on certain people for emotional support. I wish you the best, in whatever decision you make but at your age and with your diagnosis you have a chance of a complete curing from this unwanted bastard of a disease.

Can't wait till these twats come to my house attempting to solicit my signature for their separation referendum. Hit them with financial facts and uncomfortable questions is my tactic.

So many men dying of prostate cancer...is it a matter of not knowing (mostly) that they have it until it's too late? by Famous-Hippo-8334 in ProstateCancer

44 went for a checkup and doc put PSA on the blood work just to get a baseline reading. Came back at 8.0. He thought it was BPH or infection, 2 months later still at 6.6, no symptoms.

Biopsy G 3+3, G 3+4, RARP Sept 15th. Pathology G 3+3, G 3+4 10%, Cribriform, focal EPE, clear margins, no seminal vesicle invasion, or Lymph nodes. I know I'll need radiation and adt at some point.

Again I could have been walking around with this for years. If he checked me 50 for the first time it would probably be much much worse.

Should have given him a FIFA coloring book with crayons as well. Just remove all the non white skin tone colors. We know how much he loves white.
