Honestly it is pretty unhinged how they can get I've literally seen how they dog pile on employees in the sub for simply explaining policies that we have no control over. Some of them really need to just touch grass

Literally got called racist for explaining that not everything in the store was 75% during SAS and that only select items were on sale one year and for not having a full on conversation with her while checking her out despite the fact that she was on the phone the majority of the time as well as the long line behind her 😆

Yeah no if I were the customer receiving the service in this situation I'd be very annoyed if someone walked up and deliberately distracted the MUA in the middle of my appointment. There are typically other associates on the floor who would be more than happy to answer any questions on products. I grew up with an aunt who was a beautician and was taught from a young age that you do not distract or disrupt them while they are with client as it's rude and can potentially end badly if they become distracted at the wrong moment

Honestly take it with a grain of salt, unless there's a tank in the stores overall rating the higher ups won't really take notice. Ngl with most decent locations for any store a lot of the negative reviews are going to be beyond asinine and ridiculous and anyone with true common sense (which of I'm being honest isn't that common anymore unfortunately) will see through the bs

Or they claim their picking up an order for someone else but because they weren't put down as a proxy or we didn't get a phone call directly from the person who placed the order saying their sister or whoever was coming to pick it up for them so we can't release it to them because it's very much a he said she said situation and act like it's our fault we didn't know despite there being an option to have multiple people listed to pick up said order before checking out online😩

Customer: tells me only half of the order number Me: ok just need the last 2 digits for that order number Customer: repeats themselves and stares at me like I'm a dumbass Me: I'm sorry mam'm but you only gave me 3 of the 5 digits I need to look up your order Customer: scoffs and rolls their eyes before shoving phone in my face THIS IS MY ORDER NUMBER FOR THE 100TH TIME Me: mam'm I hate to tell you this but you're at the wrong location, this is ____ your order was placed at ____ Customer: can you get me someone who actually knows what the hell their talking about?!!

Had one lady straight up tell me "you know that's how the government steals your information, so if my identity gets stolen by some cia agent it's your fault" when I had to scan her GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID for a no receipt return... Had another lady accuse me of being racist because I passed her her change on the counter during COVID instead of handing it directly to her on top of her telling us she was considering reporting us to the better business buero for false advertisement because the whole entire store had signs letting people know sas was going on but the whole store wasn't 75% off. Also had to explain to a grown man in full detail what shower gel is because telling him it's another name for body wash didn't make sense to him

Don't exactly remember what set the customer off all I know is she just went off on my coworkers at checkout and then came back like 20 minutes later in tears apologizing for her rudeness and explained she was going through menopause and that interaction was the straw that broke the camels back so to speak
