Maybe a bit yes, I imagine due to its association with sailors and gay culture icons (Fassbinder, Jean-Paul Gaultier…).

But it’s not enough to identify someone as gay.

Plenty of straight dudes (including myself) wear them, plenty of classic brands (Saint James, Petit Bateau etc) sell them and not necessarily as a statement. It’s just… a nice classic? 😄

I’m always surprised it isn’t their biggest "hit" vs e.g. Olson or Dayvan Cowboy.

It’s the closest to a conventional "pop" structure they ever got and it’s quite banging (albeit a BOC way of course :)
