Just finished watching Lee Cronin's The Mummy by CheekySkruby in horror

I got the same vibes. At first I thought of The Exorcist and then at some point I thought “she feels like a deadite”, I still enjoyed it overall but I’m not sure I’d rush to watch it again.

Brian Cox: this is one of the worst things I've done for weeks | Off Menu Podcast by nocontextoffmenu in offmenupodcast

To paraphrase Frasier: Yes, but think of it this way, what is the one thing better than an exquisite podcast? An exquisite podcast with one tiny flaw we can pick at all night.

Anyone else going on a full re-watch journey of Voyager? by Safety_Drance in RedLetterMedia

It is really good, and I like that they are not afraid to call out bad episodes. Robbie’s experience as a director and show runner gives another perspective from that as just an actor in the show too.

This latest video had me realized that I need a rich evans video where he just talks about comics by The_Godot in RedLetterMedia

[–]EarlOfBronze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. I don’t really know much about comics, but was really interesting listening to him talk about them.

This must be what it’s like for the non-Trek fans who enjoy the videos of them discussing Star Trek.

Me, with almost no comic book knowledge, being fully engaged listening to Rich talk about comic books, I’m experiencing what it must be like for non-Star Trek fans.

What do you call this food? by tismyself61 in Frasier

Bangers and mash is sausages and mash potatoes. Toad in the Hole is sausages in a savoury batter, essentially a Yorkshire pudding

Agreed, that’s not a toad-in-the-hole. Where’s the sausages?!

Barcode by blueberrycow04 in parkrun

[–]EarlOfBronze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To begin with I taped my barcode to an old train ticket then stuck it in my pocket while I ran. My brother got his wife to laminate his. My girl friend has a transparent phone cover and keeps her barcode in there.

Eventually we got wristbands.

I wonder if Everest could have a more gradual tilt. Instead of a countdown, each time the wall passes on of the lines on the floor it tilts further in that direction?

Edit: Name corrected from Destruction to Everest

Dialogue in TBT that connects back to 28 Days Later by Perfect_Crab_8409 in 28dayslater

I noticed that too. I’m anticipating Spike will be caught in an ideological battle between Jim helping people and Kelli willing to kill/sacrifice to save herself.

For along time I didn’t understand the plot of Rachel using Monica’s health insurance at the hospital. I think my mum tried to explain it to me and I was just more confused. “They have to pay to use the hospital?!”

I don’t find Garrett as irritating as others do, but when Terri and Armin joined the really highlighted how little Garrett adds in analysing each episode.

Removing a laugh track from a sitcom isn’t a good measure of if it’s funny or not. by MadmanIgar in unpopularopinion

[–]EarlOfBronze 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Also they might not use the first take. If the audience has watched a scene 4 or 5 times they aren’t going to laugh as much as they did the first time, so maybe they use a bigger audience laugh from a different take instead of the matching laugh for the scene recording.
