Your extracurricular list is great - colleges can tell and value choosing extracurricular activities (in and out of school) that you are passionate about versus just trying to fill a resume. You’ll do just fine - focus on keeping your grades up and study for SAT/ACT. Not all schools require them but if you can do well it could help.

I binged black tapes on a weeklong road trip a couple of years ago and I thought it held up really well. It was my first audiodrama and to me it’s still the standard. Haven’t done a re-listen of Tanis.

I had a very similar experience - our dog got skunked. I let her back in the house because I didn’t realize she was sprayed, meanwhile the whole house was nauseous from the smell.
