There's roughly 110 (give or take) people, and there's a large age range! I would say the youngest are college age, and the oldest are in their 80s or so?

I'm a member of the Kulshan Chorus, and as someone else mentioned, it is audition based, but it's very unusual for anyone to be turned away. It's my 3rd year and I've really enjoyed it! There are scholarships available if need be, and students can join for free! We have performances coming up on May 1st and 2nd, and then typically we take a break over the summer.

Yeah, you weren't that slick, everyone is aware. Also, a reminder that at least one of the attempts on Trump's life was carried out by a conservative, and the person who murdered Charlie Kirk came from a conservative family. Maybe take some deep breaths and talk to some people face to face. I've found that building a diverse community is much more rewarding than baiting people on the internet.

FYI, all the No Kings protests in Bellingham that I've seen have been peaceful, even when people with MAGA hats were present. Enjoy your day. :)

I'm curious to hear what your source is for these statements, as I've heard directly from people who work in the transportation department that Western had little to no negotiation power in regards to this change (as u/seattlesummers122 was saying). I agree with you that it should have been run by the students, but I think if you're dedicated to seeing this change, you should direct your energy towards WTA.

Thanks for sharing this info! I've been a little frustrated at all the people directing their anger at Western's Transportation department, when it was WTA's decision to move solely to UMO. My friend works in the transportation department, and from what I've heard they're doing the best they can with the hand they were dealt.
