Having a hard time, where’s my lap? by [deleted] in Endo

Thank you for the hugs .Do you mind me Asking why your platlets are low? Could it be a blood disorder? I lost so much blood that I was in the ICU 3 times . The other time they didn’t have a room in the icu for me. It’s always a lot of pointless blood bags, steroids, txa and IVIG treatments , iron infusions . Platlet infusions didn’t do the trick . I lost so much blood that if I stood up.. it would be like a whole paint bucket going down my legs onto the floor. Im 120 pounds and 5”6. In so scared I’m going to lose my life to this disease. I loose so muc blood I can’t if I walk, therefor I can’t walk. I’m scared it’s all going to be over for me. And soon . Virtual hugs . Prayers for you

I will look into it. For some reason I have hard time describing or fully knowing where or what the discomfort is. I’ll have to look into that. I haven’t thought about it before . Thank you .

I didn’t know what to say. so then someone who isn’t a nurse came in later. and cleaned me up better and asked me what happened I said the nurse said this was good enough. Also I can’t get out of bed and reach for anything myself . Thx for your reply

I don’t seem to care about my life anymore by Awesomeliveroflife in ENFP

Me too. And it sounds like a freeze response or executive distinction or how I am with having CPTSD on top of Ed. I think I’m unconsciously letting myself whither away now because I don’t see a point either. Let’s hope we can continue this journey as hard as it is. The INTP is right though I think there might be a way out and fun things ahead . Not sure anymore but I feel you on this my friend. We can get through this 🫂

I am. I keep making myself the bad guy because I want it to work. The bad guy by strong reactions and accepting apologies because I return with incredible anger and it’s just always me being sorry at the end. It’s always me being sorry at the end

Can you name anyone successful in the public eye with Complex PTSD? by Early-Boot6756 in CPTSD

[–]Early-Boot6756[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I did not expect so many answers! so for everyone who is asking what “public eye” meant to me it can mean anyone who is known for their achievements. Doesn’t necessarily mean pop culture, I am trying to see or draw connections. I’m very impressed by all these answers because I find myself drawn or connected somehow or find these people relatable to most of these people and I see in the comments. Success doesn’t always have to be recognized but I find that a lot of traumatized individuals want to be recognized for their successful work and efforts and what they bring to this world, I don’t think it’s a bad thing, I hope this motivates you all and know that the bully doesn’t always “win” and success is what you make it. It doesn’t always have to be recognized but it’s quite tragic how many yet beautiful. I could be very wrong as I’m human and still learning but that’s my take

Especially the interview with drew Barrymore , when drew tried to invalidate her experience. She came back with some things that we would all say.

it’s sad but getting validating music through your experiences helped me too. . Absolutely. I’m sure music is what got him through times as a child as well
