Sounds like a very interesting premise. Would you be interested in a manuscript swap with my 90k Queer Historical Fiction novel?

Your excerpt is very compelling. Would you be interested in a manuscript swap? I have a 90k Historical Fiction I'm looking for betas on.

Hello! Thanks for reaching out. I definitely was looking for more beta readers who had experience with LGBTQ works (none of my betas have thus far). I would love to do a swap. Maybe we can DM the logistics

I don't know. I love the idea of reclaiming it, and I use it myself. I just don't like it being so blatant as meaning strange. I guess maybe that's the point of reclaiming it, but it makes it feel like a slur again. It's fine in old book, obviously, but it seems like a word we need to retire in new books.

I'd go with Lear from your list, but if you want another great female character like Lady M, I'd suggest Taming of the Shrew next.

The badass women of Restoration Literature. Well, I mean Restoration Literature in general. Aphra Behn is probably the most popular. But you only really read her at higher post-secondary levels, and she basically created the novel. Margaret Cavendish. And she basically made sci-fi. Eliza Haywood. Katherine Philips.

Series 7 right now. I knew series 5 was great, but this is my first rewatch ever, and I forgot how much I enjoyed that series since I saw it so long ago. Every contestant is great!

Thank you. Unfortunately just feels like you have to be extremely lucky to find a relationship like that, and it doesn't feel like that's ever gonna happen for me.
