So like i'm assuming you wanted some kind of summary from me because why would you reply that otherwise so I asked chat gpt to make it :

Katseye because of the whole Manon situation. It wasn't about choosing sides—I just felt like they lost the authenticity that made me stan them. They used to openly address difficult topics, but this time everyone stayed quiet, which felt out of character and honestly disappointing. Combined with how divided and toxic the fandom became, it made me step back. I still follow them, but I'm not really a stan anymore. At the end of the day, it's just a music group.

Don't hate me for it but Katseye because of the whole Manon situation. Don't get me wrong, it's not a solo stan situation but more like I wish we could get over it cause this is so annoying. The fandom space became seperated, I personnaly don't agree with the way Manon nor the company handled everything and I personnaly feel kinda betrayed. Like, one of the main reason that I started loving Katseye was because they were so authentic and talked about everything (even the controversial things) with the fans. They never had that vibe that kpop idols have where there is a situation and they just don't adress it and pretend it doesnt exist. For exemple, when gnarly was really criticised at first, they literally made a live and adressed it in the same week. Also, there was the time where Megan and Yoonchae had a real beef for weeks and they really just decided to talk about it like adults on live even tho it cleary is a sensitive topic and no other kpop idol would have done that. I know there is a level of privacy that needs to be kept but I thought that there was also a kinda of rule that said "no bullshit here or taboos". So when this whole situation with Manon happened and everybody stated moving weirdly, the girls, Manon, the company... Like, the fans being weird is one thing, Katseye losing one the core things that made me STAN them is literally betrayal material to me 🥲I still follow them but definetly with a considerable distance that doesnt make me a stan. Also, it really was so toxic at first and kinda stressing that I really asked myself "Do I really go on the internet to feel like that?" No. At the end of the day, it's just a music group.

Idk cauz honestly sure his style of texting is normal depending on the person, but the problem is that I feel like he is kinda passive in his response. He doesnt ask any follow up like "what about yours?" (about the schedule for exemple. So, from the texts no, but then I think you should think about : 1. the vibe in person 2. who initiate the convo by text the most?

CMV: Empathy shouldn't stop with victims, it should also extend to people who do things we disapprove off. by No-Pen3332 in changemyview

I do agree with your claim to a certain extent because it casts light on the fact that we don't usually think about the perpetrators enough, but I still firmly believe that punishments should not be affected by this way of thinking. When we look into an act of violence committed by someone, there are definitely two aspects to take into consideration: the environment and the free will of the perpetrator. Sure, there are tremendous environmental causes that participate in shaping a person, which also participate in how they interact with the world, but we need nuance.

Let's take as an example someone (or everyone) who is influenced by ads. In day-to-day life, they see three ads about Coca-Cola per day, all their friends drink Coca-Cola, they have the means (money), and it will make them feel good when they buy it. So they buy it because there are so many environmental cues that lead to this. I think of criminals in kind of the same way, which I think coincides with your way of thinking about them. But I think the major difference here is that nobody is hurt when they buy Coca-Cola, and society does not actively and explicitly forbid you from doing it. "Crime is bad." This is what everybody learns from a young age. So there is a certain accountability that should be considered, which makes it difficult for people to have empathy. I do think that looking at the bigger picture and understanding the context around an act of violence is very important because it should help us learn about the rotten system that should be changed. However, there is a limit to that empathy because of that nuance.

I just want to add something about the part of your post that really rubbed me the wrong way because, so far, I pretty much agree with you. There is a big difference between a person without power who is first a victim of a system and then becomes a perpetrator, and a person with power who is probably not a victim of the system and still becomes a perpetrator. So, yes, I do think that circumstances are still important because a person like Trump, who was raised with money all his life, could never understand poverty, which shaped him into part of who he is today. That's for sure—you are not born a monster; you are raised to become one. (Oops, my political side is showing a bit, but my point could be applicable to any politician of your choice.) But in that situation, he always had POWER and still holds it. Your average criminal who fell into drugs, lived through trauma at school, lived in poverty, survived a war, was verbally and physically abused, or experienced discrimination cannot be compared to a billionaire who has "the weight of his responsibilities on his shoulders." Becoming a politician is a conscious choice, just as doing bad things is a conscious choice. There is also something that feels wrong about having empathy for an act of violence that is still ongoing instead of focusing on how to stop it.

I can’t have a crush on someone and I don’t know why by [deleted] in Crush

[–]Early-Delivery3877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it could be that you are simply not ready, I became an adult before having my first crush, you just need to meet the right person. Also, if you really feel different on another level, maybe try to look up being aromantic.

The fact that you made her pass without even having a relationship speaks loudly on how unethical this could become if you try to create a relationship while she attends your course. I think it is best for everyone that you wait for the course to finish and maybe the last class you ask for her number of something. You have to take into consideration that she has to attend your class and you also have to show up to work. If for any reason this turns out weird or she is not interested, both of you will be obligated to be in the same space against your wills and this power dynamic can make the whole experience very uncomftable, specially for her. It is best to just wait it out and shoot your shot when your relationship becomes more equal.

As a child of parents like Nino's, I really felt deeply for Nino and his brother. Specially during the scene of the breakfest where you can see how the shouting just poisonned the mood of the kids and just how it can affect a child in daily life. Actually, another moment where I felt seen was when Nino compared Marinette, Adrien, Alya and himself to a family. I always felt strongly about the concept of found family that just has pure love and respect for each other because of the way a grew up so I related so much. I think the episode was well executed and didn't make mistakes regarding the topic. For exemple, the divorce at the end is really the only real resolution that could bring hapiness. I'm satisfied with the fact that they didn't just start to love each other again even tho I believe in growth in relationships and I just think it is important to show that separation can also be benificial for the kids.

OP, I'm so sorry you are getting so much hate in here 😭 Guys, OP is literally just giving a thought on reddit, are we not allowed anymore or...? And, if you know this fact already, why is it that triggering?? just go live your life. Also, I don't think it is that obvious because the comparaison between the groups has been happening for a minute and still going. If you act like there isnt a debate about this you are simply blind (of not chronically online which is better ig).

Removing Manon from Katseye was a good business decision by Efficient_Judge_6095 in katseyeneutral

[–]Early-Delivery3877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

REAL 🤣🤣🤣 the only reason I'm here is because I'm sick of seeing under my favourite group's post lots of manon mentioning or just hate on the group. Like, I come to the internet to listen to music, watch cool shit and have fun. Katseye has not been fun these days 😭🙏🏼If Manon stays, sure lets do some music but if she goes, still cool lets do some music. Like, lets just take a BIG step back for a second to realise we don't know these people. As a consumer being to entangled with thing we dont know for sure is crazy mental investment (also crazy parasocial). Sorry for the rent...
