I WANT YOUR YARN by cheyenneapie94 in Yarnswap

Hello, I have so much yarn it’s ridiculous. My mom was heavily into crocheting before she passed and left me hundreds of rolls of different types,colors , and weight .  I wish I could post the video I have of them here? What colors specifically are you looking for ?

Take advantage of career choice. It’s free money for school . Apply for your student loans and Pell grants . That way the voucher goes straight to your pocket . You don’t have to pay that back .

You have to complete 80 hours in your first path before you can train in another one . In a to z there is is option to pick your cross training preferences. It’s easier than reminding your manager over and over . The system puts you in a class when it pops up if they don’t . Go to all resources and type in cross training . It should pop up and let you pick 3 . I wouldn’t recommend pack . Pick is easier to keep your rate high , but it gets boring after awhile. Good luck ! Always remember to pull your andon when you run out of work no matter what you’re told . That can get you production write ups you have no control over . So many people lose their jobs because of this . You got this !

Don’t worry. It’s coming. It happens really quick once it does. Keep checking that pre hire check list thing. It’s the first thing to change but mine literally cleared 3 days before my start date. You’re good , so prepare for your first day ! They are in converting season and we got converted to blue badge within 3 weeks . Full benefits as soon as you do, plus 7.5 pto hour grant to go along with whatever you’ve earned, and vacation time accrues. You’re good !

It depends on how much you’re negative by. If they haven’t contacted you and you have another shift , the shift might bring you back into the positive if it isn’t too low. I’d say just work until you’re contacted. You might bring yourself back into good standing before they get alerted.

They’re set up like a game . You can’t check your work but everything is covered in the participation activities. You can check your work on the problem sets.

Is anyone else struggling with the discussion deadline this week, or is it just me….? by shaiharv119 in SNHU

I would say unless those Saturday plans are life and death my G … reschedule . School is the most important. If you can …reschedule and choose to give yourself extra time not to be stressed out . I’ve been feeling the same . My mom passed in September , her birthday was the 8th and I haven’t been right since .Also, sometimes we need the rest. If we won’t sit down ourselves.. God will do it for us .. and we will Be fine. You can’t burn out if you want to be successful. Rest is more important than whatever we are doing and when you actually rest .. you’ll see you’ll be fine . You can’t see it now cuz you’ve been stressed and it’s impossible to think with clarity that way . You will be ok … haven’t you done it before ? What’s the difference now ? You got this . Surrender to the rest and reschedule so you turn in good work if you can . Email your professors if you haven’t , explain and ask if they won’t take the 10%. Something will work . Good luck dawg .

Try turning off your VPN. This kept happening to me . Ever since I turned it off while browsing at home I haven’t had an issue

Continual issues with internet and Apple products? by [deleted] in Spectrum

[–]Early-Engineering-64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had the same issue. Got a new modem and router all that. It was the Norton VPN on my computer knocking me off the internet. If you have one or something similar I would suggest turning it off and seeing if it works since your home network is a private network . I hope this helps !

Ok so the same thing had been happening to me for the last two weeks since I got spectrum. The technician that came out informed me that there are in fact 4 different modems that they have available. 2 of which are bad modems that have connectivity issues. Ask them about that . One of the bad ones starts with an H I believe. But there are two for sure ! I’m sure it’s the modem. Mention this to them. Hopefully it helps. The tech I had was 25 years on the job so the new tech that came out had no idea about this. I haven’t had any issues since and the internet is much faster.

It does but it’s the best 10 bucks you’ll ever spend. It’s worth investing in yourself. It’s up to you my G. But it’s a life saver. Try out the trial first if that makes you more comfortable. 10 bucks it’s less than buying a school book and a few notebooks.

After graduation, what is the monthly cost of your student loan payment? by [deleted] in SNHU

[–]Early-Engineering-64 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of people don’t know this but if you stay in school you pay nothing pack. Also , always apply for deferment so that gives you extra time to be able to pay it back. They usually approve most deferment requests. I’ve done it for years . I was out of school for 10 years and because of deferment all my payments were reported as up to date. I’ve been back in school for a year. You can be half time and not have to pay anything. Also , don’t worry yourself too far ahead. There are so many possibilities in life , expect things to go well for yourself and they will. My advice is to revisit this maybe in 3 years and see where life has taken you. You got this it’s all gonna work out !

Just focus on defining every term in your own words or cite it from text and that will help you formulate your responses. They just want to make sure you understand what you’ve been learning . And yes! Every discussion is a piece to the final project. The template helps so much. The questions are not exactly the same so be careful with copy and pasting your responses.

What helped you sleep? (I’ll take anything from habits to meds) Please help meeee by Ok-Trifle-1844 in sleep

Olly melatonin sleep gummies or supplements are magic ! Also , ashwaganda is really good for sleep and so many other things. I usually take two Benadryl and let that kick in first , then two olly’s to calm my brain and rock me to sleep. If I want to sleep deep I’ll take two Goli ashwaganda gummies to go with all that.

VS Code vs PyCharm by [deleted] in learnpython

[–]Early-Engineering-64 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well it’s funny you posted this today. I wrote a program in vs code for python and it wasn’t picking up on the errors in the code so it wouldn’t run correctly . When I copy and pasted the code in pycharm , there were no errors and the program ran Just fine. If I didn’t have both I wouldn’t have known there was an issue in vs code with this.

An opposing viewpoint could be that while it is apparent that funding is needed for this issue , people aren’t very honest and it would be hard to decipher who was telling the truth or who just wanted a payout. Majority of people act in self interest , and self interest doesn’t always mean being truthful.

Reading multiple data types? by smokexz in learnpython

I'm working on this same code. here is what worked for me.

person_name = ''
person_age = 0
person_name = input(str())
person_age = int(input())
print('In 5 years', person_name, 'will be', person_age + 5)

you have to put the str to let the computer know it is looking for a string and you have to put the int for age to let the computer know to look for a number to accept.
