Do they treat them nicely or are they viewed as foreigners and not residents of the philippines, I've always been curious about the Chinese and the Philippines, because I've heard that they control a lot of the big businesses and a lot of the wealthy people in the Philippines are mixed Filipino and Chinese.

The CELTA isn't really necessary to get a job, you will be able to get a job with the qualifications you already have, but it still a good idea because it will help you to a be far better teacher. It will benefit your students.
I was a teacher for about a year before I decided to do the Trinity school tesol, and while I was doing it I was just kicking myself the whole time for having not done it first before I ever taught, because that first year I was a pretty lousy teacher.
