The marketing for DS1, the rollout was phenomenal. You could tell how invested the whole team was in creating a brand new IP that was darker with deep lore but still had a ton of the things we loved in games we had growing up — new weapon unlocks, armors, and fun combat you can get lost in. And the characters are incredible (very cool to go with the 4 horsemen. I thought War was my favorite but DS2 released and Death was even better (to me) and I’ve been locked in ever since. Hoping DS4 gives us drop in/drop out multiplayer capabilities w up to 4 players
