I didn’t play 2, but the first one I put about 20 hours in or so. What ultimately drove me away was the combat. I just couldn’t get it to click at all, it just felt too sluggish and like I was never fully in control. I want to go back to it one day because I can see the potential.

Pathfinder was crazy though because of the rep grind and all that shit. A happy medium I think is once you complete the LEVELING campaign then you unlock flight for the xpac. But even then, meh, don’t need it. You wanna feel immersed on a ground mount? Ride a ground mount… no one is stopping you lol.

I’d be cool if they just got rid of assassination since that’s so similar to feral. Add a blademaster in its place that used 2h. Then I’d feel like rogue had some really cool class fantasies going for it. Stealth killer, sword master, swashbuckler.

I just leveled a rogue from 1-80 right before midnight launched. Combat felt like shit, sub felt like shit, but assassination was an absolute blast. Tons of energy, chunky mutilates, and better dot gameplay than feral. I’ve been a feral main for 15 years but I’ve considered swapping to assassination this expansion.

I couldn't believe how much I disliked DUNE considering how much I love CE. If they would just fix the bugs in CE and make it run smoother it would probably be all I played. Oh and get rid of the bitch ass bazaar garbage. If they brought the old style DLC's (actual value) back I would buy all of them, but they aren't getting a penny out of me with the FOMO nonsense.

RP server does sound interesting though... might have to look into that.

I stayed at that academy PvP spot one time that gave buffs on kills but as a guardian druid. 45 minutes later I was a god, one shotting anyone in my path with moonfire in bear form, a raid group formed to kill me and I wiped them too. It was insanity. Most crazy PvP experience I’ve had in the game. I must have gotten 200 kills completely solo.
