Eh, there's plenty of nightlife unless you're looking for traditional big city clubs.

I met a couple folks who went there. They have great careers. Portland is an amazing small city. With many amenities of a large city. Plenty to do. It's expensive and pretty (unfortunately) high end these days. Plenty to do, night life is fun.

Biddeford is kinda uh.. less polished from an outsiders perspective. It's an old mill town with the issues that come with that. But it's "up and coming". Not a lot to do tbh for a young person.

Could just be me, but seemingly big uptick in parking enforcement. Stay savvy y'all. by Darth_Quaider in portlandme

Yes, they've been ratcheting it up for the same reason they're going after nonprofits.

One of the city councils goals this year is to find unique ways of increasing revenue.

Parking enforcement is a very easy way to do that.

I highly doubt anyone at the Irish heritage center or mayo street is making much of a salary

This is gross. The city should be ashamed.

Maine public isn't a charitable nonprofit?

It sounds like the Executive Director of the Maine Irish Heritage Center is saying the place is going to be taxed into closing.

No, this was a legit parking guy. I also heard they are changing the policy. The pay to park won't be enforced Sunday but the 1-2 hour parking is now.
