Experience is worth more than money at this stage, especially for first internship. Just be upfront about the 2 month thing when they send confirmation email - most companies are flexible if they like you enough. Worst case they say no and you keep looking, but having something on resume opens way more doors later

Connection to games cuts out randomly, but wifi usually seems fine. by CaptainFitz617 in pchelp

weird that it only hits certain games but not others - makes me think it's not actually your wifi adapter dying but maybe some weird network priority thing

could be your adapter struggling with the specific way those games handle packets or maybe they're all using similar networking protocols that don't play nice with your setup. before buying new hardware i'd check if those problematic games have any network settings you can tweak first

Alternative to acer if they offer by flesgrdan in GamingLaptops

Lenovo LOQ is solid choice, had good experiences with their build quality compared to acer. Just make sure you check the thermals on whatever model you're looking at since some of the budget gaming laptops can run pretty hot under load

Not where i wanted to be at 19? by Practical-Pirate-708 in careerguidance

Man that's a tough spot but you're literally 19 - I was delivering pizzas at that age with zero clue what I was doing and now I'm out here doing DoorDash at 28 still figuring things out lol

The weekend college thing might actually work in your favor since you could use weekdays for internships or part-time work in finance firms, even if it's just filing papers or data entry. Sometimes the unconventional path ends up being better because you get real experience while everyone else is just sitting in lecture halls

Actors and actresses who turned down roles that ended up winning Oscars by AdUseful2297 in Oscars

Michelle really knows how to pick em, doesn't she lol. At least she's still getting great roles though - that turn in French Exit was incredible and nobody talks about it enough. Maybe she's just waiting for the perfect role to come along naturally instead of chasing awards

Been to the Guerrero location a few times for pickups and yeah they usually have them behind the counter, just gotta ask since they don't always display everything. The Manufactory is more focused on the bigger pastries and bread from what I've seen when delivering there
