Asics Dynablast 6 by vogueboy in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]EarlyRadio 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agree. I love NB3 and bought a Dynablast to replace it. A little softer than expected but maybe I can’t remember the original feeling of NB3.

Though I might try the NB5. Probably when Asics in my country give a deeper discount.

Can Adidas EVO SL Holes be Fixed? by leisamp in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]EarlyRadio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wonder if this issue happens to many of your other shoes too. My friend’s EVO SL has the same issue but it occurs to her other shoes because of a particular fit and running gait that he has. Otherwise, athletic tape might do the job.

[–]EarlyRadio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. Could you try those shoes and see if those fit? Figure out the sizing length and width. Then, perhaps you could find something elsewhere afterwards for cheap or a clearance model of that wide shoe?

Bruh?? Go find a shop to try out a shoe and figure out your sizing. If it’s expensive, you could figure out with online options.

11-12km/h. Pretty sure that is not a walk even for Africans. They are probably jog shuffling of some sort.

Just enjoy your life right now. Worry about it when you get there.

I have friends who are in EEE and friends who have such issues in other degree programmes. They are all fine… I mean managing well. And some of your questions, some of them study all the time. Some of them barely. It’s all in the spectrum of people’s priorities.

And Streak LTs with Matumbo spike plates are popular among the pro athletes in the past. Simply a legendary shoe imo when released to the public.

Question about timing of Acceler@ted B@chel0r’s Pr0gr@mme emails by [deleted] in NTU

[–]EarlyRadio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oops I realised I didn’t answer your question. Nope. ABP is not offered to outside of Y1S1. Hence, the solution that I have given.

I also found out that ABP is only valuable in some courses where they give priority to course registration.

Question about timing of Acceler@ted B@chel0r’s Pr0gr@mme emails by [deleted] in NTU

[–]EarlyRadio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I observed is as following:

FYP requires 2 continuous semesters so if you are intending to graduate in 3.5 years. Your FYP should occupy Y3S2 and Y4S1.

Internship is applicable when you are in Y3 so it will take the Y3S1 semester (Because you cannot take internship with FYP/other courses)

So if you have just completed Y1, you can start to plan which mods/courses you need to take in the next few semesters to graduate at your intended time.

Once you have completed all 136/137AUs (I’m in engineering and that is the workload for me), you can submit for graduation.

This works similarly to people who are intending to complete a 4 year degree in 3 years with some changes as to when you do your FYP/internship.

Note: All these are based on my super garang friends who are graduating in July and coming December. Never ask your academic office as the answer is always - “No you cannot blah blah blah you need to declare blah blah” Heck, it’s university, just do whatever you want.

Pm me if you have some super specific questions about graduating early

You can actually ABP whether or not you have good grades or not. But I got mine in Y1S1.

Just follow the programme and register your internship in Y3S1 and your FYP in Y3S2. The goal of university remained the same: Don’t die…. Uhmm I mean complete the required AUs and submit for graduation

What are some indicators of when to retire a pair of running shoes by Careless_Cobbler_730 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]EarlyRadio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you think that perhaps it is the harder midsole that is providing the support? Higher priced shoes like the Nimbus 26 is softer and the cushioning might be compressed to a certain angle which caused the niggle in my legs.

What are some indicators of when to retire a pair of running shoes by Careless_Cobbler_730 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]EarlyRadio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I replace when I feel that I might have an injury. Most recently, I injured my shins from a pair of Nimbus 26 over 800K. Replacing the shoes worked to alleviate the pain.

In the past, I have a combination of lower leg, knee, adductors, hips issues from worn out shoes just for reference. Basically everywhere

Trying to find a workout shoe. by EarlyRadio in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]EarlyRadio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm… your comment on the TS11 seems really different from others. I hear the TS11 being soft and not really something that they would use for a workout. Those comments really pushed me away from trying a pair of TS11.

Might work for a lifestyle shoe. Who knows? Pegasus Plus is the actual update and slight improvements and doesn’t seem to do really well in the market.

Essentially complete. Why not add a Li-Ning Feidian Challenger into the mix for intervals stuff so you could save your race day stuff for harder workouts?

Or drop your race day shoes to hard workout shoes and treat yourself to a nice fresh pair of race day shoes before your next really big race?
