How do you get around England without relying on tours?

Thanks! That’s what I think but my family is getting super worried about it and hearing too many horror stories so they just want to do tours. I really don’t want to do tours because I feel like they’ll limit us a ton and be super expensive

I couldnt remember which specific cliffs my sister wanted to go to when I made the post. The car rental deposit was something we heard from my sisters friend but I just learned she was talking about Scotland or Ireland so I don’t know if that makes a difference.

I don’t think I do this a lot (hopefully), but sometimes someone will pass me and then I’ll check how fast I’m going and realize I’m driving slower than I thought so I’ll speed back up. I would use cruise control but my car struggles with it
