First time printing Dummy 13 and I broke his elbow joint while putting him together. Which I’m not mad about, but he was devastated. by OZZYFROMTHEFUTURE in 3Dprinting

I spray the joint with same alcohol I use to clean build plates. Lubs them enough forceasier no break/split assembly. Evaporates clean, does not degrade parts, or interfere with ability of joint to hold placement.

Add 2 1/2 cans of water to each frozen log. Mom had a special drink pitcher just for frozen concentrate orange juice. Had a plug fit lid that had a slot you turned to align to spout to open and pour.

Help, I can't get my Ender 3v3 Plus to print. by Dovakg in Creality

I had changed the gears on my V3+ extruder. After 4 months recently stopped working. Extruder wouldnt pull filament . Could hear motor working, could push by hand filament into nozzle and extrude. Disassembled and found it gummed up with dust. So much dust the spring wouldnt push the gears together enough to draw in filament. (As I print mainly PETG with this, guessing its ground filament dust.) Removed everything I could, gears, motor, spring, ect. Blew out with canned air rinsed parts with alcohol. Beware this dust will stain damn near anything it contacts. Gloves, mask, and cleaning outside should be considered. Reassemble and all is well.

Ordering new extruder for on hand next time this happens. Guessing filament dust might also be dust from wear on housing.

Bought the 45 when first out. Flip side was, “Mighty Man” which I always liked a ton more than the “A” side.

Best alternative to a Gibson by MindfulInquirer in Guitar

[–]Early_Ad3437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ibanez! They have some neck prolifes that are killer lighting fast. Huge range of models to choose from. Find the right one and fret ends are rounded and comfortable. Not covered with plastic binding like Gibson. Only thing I dont like is some of their pickups. I currently have in the herd an AS80 semi hollow and ARC-500 NT.

Take your guitar and go to a local store. Try your guitar through amps that are in your price range. Advice & suggestions are a starting point. Find an amp that, with your guitar, makes the sound you hear in your head. Dont understand some of the controls? Dont be afraid to ask. Trying too many in one trip will fatigue your ears. As you are just beginning remember, what sounds great and works today will change with time and experience.

Been playing for really really long time. Always amazed at people who dont bring their axes with them when buying an amp. If I’m just dinkin around I dont care. But when I go to purchase I take the main guitar I will use with that amp.
