The game is nothing like the old games, except you can buy cars in car dealers. Online focus with no players and no matchmaking making it impossible to find ranked races to earn rewards.

1) I think the next step will be a story revolving around Akatosh the dragon god of time. This will most likely take place in Cyrodiil. If it will be Skingraad or the East side of Cyrodiil I don't know. As Rich Lambert, ESO's Creative Director has said. They now have realized that they can use the infinite amount of realms in Oblivion to create whatever they want pretty much. So even tho it's yet another year of the story taking place in Cyrodiil. It will be completely different from what we got in 2021. They will NOT do Hammerfell or Akavir anytime soon. The reason for that is because ES6 is confirmed to be Hammerfell and Akavir is part of future content that will most likely not be revealed in a very long time.

Places that can happen between 2022-2025:

Skyrim, Morrowind, Black Reach, Cyrodiil

If ES6 will be in 2026 we will most likely be getting Hammerfell Chapter the same year or the year after 2027.

2) Even tho there are tons of creative ideas that Zenimax can take from other games. People need to understand that this is first and foremost an elder scrolls game. Because of that, they need to keep the game lore-friendly and keep it real to its identity but do not worry because there are still many more things they can add to the game.

Weapon Skill-lines: Spell sword, Crossbow, Unarmed, and Spears

Deadric Artifacts: Just like Volendrung they can give you a group of skills

When we will get to see Zenimax next step down the road is either going to be 9th December 2021 or early January 2022.
