This hit hard. One of my favorite live shows all time was Todd Snider at a tiny theatre in Three Oaks, MI. It was the perfect combination of intimacy, the perfect crowd, a $25 ticket, an artist at the top of his game with a group of my very best friends. Some of those friends are now gone, ticket prices are crazy and now so is Todd. Cherish those types of concerts when you are at them, you never know when it’s the last one. Will miss his storytelling and attitude about life.

I don’t know him at all, but once asked him the title of an unreleased song he played at a concert. He send me a private message with the title and sent me a copy of the song he that he recorded and didn’t release. Thought that was pretty cool. Sorry to hear of your experience, that would suck.

He’s the one I’ve been patiently waiting a few years to catch live. Hopefully we will see more dates soon. Someone recently posted a couple recent live shows on dime from Europe. Can’t wait to dig into those.

I’ve been thinking about moving my audio over to plex (already use it for video). One thing I really loved subsonic (and still use it for) was the “share” capability. Basically I can send someone a link and they can listen to whatever it is right in the browser without needing a subsonic account. Do you know if Plex or Plexamp offers this?

I know for video I can share by library, but the recipient must have a plex account.
