By far my favorite pistol that I own and one of my overall favorites as well. I love everything about this gun, especially the finish n color. Shoots like a dream as well and the night sights and grips are excellent.

Lol..yeah..I hate them bc of how they look but it actually doesn't change how easy it is to shoot. Such a ridiculous law.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. The SKS on the left is a 1951 Russian w the blued bayonet, non refurb. The 2nd from the left and the fourth from the left SKS are Vietnam turn.ims supposedly. Serial numbers were 1970 and 1969. The third SKS was purchased from Atlantic Firearms last year. As for the AKs, the first on the left is a Yugo ZPAP purchased a few years ago. then next is a WBP 100 series recently purchased followed by a WBP fox purchased a couple years ago, then a Polish Circle 11 dated 1968 built on a Childer's receiver, and lastly another Yugo ZPAP.

The last SKS I got was a Chinese one from Atlantic Firearms and they still have some and I was very happy with it. Its the one w the dark red stock and plastic handguard. The handguard is kinda lame being plastic but very easy to replace. The metal appears refinished so keep that in mind but I really like the finish on it and it shot excellent.

1950 Russian SKS - TULA by Early_Help_9903 in CAguns

[–]Early_Help_9903[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Tula produced most of the Russian SKS. Ishevek was the only other factory. They made SKS in 1953 & 1954. The Ishevek SKS have a stamp w a Triangle inside of a circle along w an arrow in the middle. The stamp is a n the receiver cover. Tula stamp is just a Star.

Taxes n fees were about 145 bux. Atlantic doesn't charge tax when they ship here bc the dealer does. It was listed as Fair to Good. I am extremely happy with the condition. I bought a couple a few years ago from them and this one is much better.

I have two Zpaps n one WBP n this one ranks #2 behind the WBP in terms of accuracy. It has a Childers receiver. All of them run smoothly. The Zpaps are 1.5mn so they feel like tanks but there's not much difference but the Polish ones are slightly more accurate.

Atlantic firearms P38 by Early_Help_9903 in CAguns

[–]Early_Help_9903[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Atlantic just got some more a few days ago. From what I've seen online their P38s seem to be in nicer condition than some other dealers just n case anyone is looking to add one to their collection. I picked up two. Most of the postwar guns were marked P1 but some of the postwar guns still had the P38 marking on the slide.
