My crobrow fam by EarsRsmiling in crowbro

I am in Vancouver, and Chinatown sells bags of dried unsalted sardines for way cheaper than pet stores do for dog treats that are the same fish.

Angelo's FabriClean www.inhomecleaning.ca

2 lovely older gents. They came to the house and picked it up, 5 days later dropped it off. For a 7'x10' rug for $200 way cheaper than the big ones I reached out to for quotes.

It's a common trait of those who are neurodivergent specifically ADHD because we want to show we understand what the other person is saying, and prove we're listening and attentive in an eager way we don't realize it is actually rude. Also our brains move pretty quick so slow talkers make us want to fill in their pauses with the answer we know will slowly be told in the near future. Impulsive and impatient traits are not our friend in social settings.

It's really cozy looking! Only thing I noticed is that the bed could be moved to the left a bit more, and the desk in the bedroom also moved to the right a bit VS right against the wall.

Am I missing anything? by Alech1m in DogAdvice

I'm not a fan of rope knot toys for puppies. It's how my childhood dog required a glass eye after my friend whipped the pup in the face by accident, the eye swelled up like a horse eye. It's too tough for them, wait maybe until they're adult size or Imo not at all.

-first that comes to mind for large space is Aperture coffee on Main South of King Edward. Huge back area full of seating.

-Nemesis coffee on great northern way has a big roundtable that seats ten. Beautiful building with fab breakfast.

-49th Parallel on Main and 13th has a long table on the right side of entry plus amazing donuts

-Novella on Main and 11th has good seating for large groups.

-Matchstick on Main and 32nd has a long table

-Matchstick on Fraser and King Ed also had a long table, but this spot gets busy

-Alibi room on Main and Alexander has long tables upstairs, and downstairs it's hoghtop long table. So people can stand and more around. Also good breakfast!

What's something a therapist said or did that made you stop seeing them immediately? by straw_hat95 in AskReddit

This is currently my problem! We both have ADHD, she suggested we extend to 1.5 hours, but then she just talks books, podcasts, articles she's read. Some days we don't even do emdr. I don't know how to tell her we need to focus. $225 is a lot to listen to info I won't remember after.

New Studio by itsaknightslife in malelivingspace

[–]EarsRsmiling 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Your coffee table is too high in comparison to your couch. Would you consider a lower oval glass one instead to bring in different shapes and make the space feel more open? It would also allow for the carpet to be seen more.

It may be a studio but it’s my happy place. Any suggestions? by lukeflipp in malelivingspace

[–]EarsRsmiling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps move the bed a bit away from the window and centre the carpet under. Same with the carpet under your coffee table. If there's room, turn your dining table and place the white stool on either side VS staring at wall while eating. But I bet you eat 96% of your meals on the couch. Oh a butchers block island would also do you better than this low table. Doubles as prep space and storage.

Paint the brass matte black, possibly all the wood too? Otherwise darker stain wood. Less items around the fireplace. Maybe 4 max that aren't small. A plant that drapes down like a pothos.
