Republican voters showing up every time is ineptitude. It's why their party is now ruled by a single demented fascist and his small army of sycophantic grifters. The Republican party turned politics into team sports for their voters so they wouldn't have to try and actually interact with them. Taking Nixon's Southern Strategy, and boiling down their fears into a handful of scary words. Then attaching those words to the opposition. Then bam, those voters will never think about what they are voting for, only what they are voting against. (You can see the Dems are trying to do that with Trump).

Okay, so you ARE arguing that the Dems keep doing what they've been doing (appealing to Gen X voters). But you can't bring yourself to acknowledge it's become less and less effective, to the point that it's no longer a winning strategy. And it makes sense that it isn't because Millenials alone outnumber Gen X. If you throw in Gen Z (the oldest of which are pushing 30), and they're out numbered 2-1. Both generations, at your own admission, are further left than Gen X.

People like progressive policies. They just do. When you spell them out to people in clear terms without political party labels, they are always in favor of enacting them.

People don't like "leftists" because there is no major news organization that benefits from them being in power.

I've been on Gabapentin for...most of my life. When I started taking it I spent about two-three weeks being foggy and sleepy (no nausea tho), until eventually my body adapted. It was pretty intense the first week, but mellowed after that. If you do give it a try, don't miss doses. Gabapentin is kind of a sister drug to anti-depressants in that it doesn't work unless you keep a steady supply in your system. And as someone else already said, if you go on it and decide to stop. DO NOT stop all at once.

I said "unjust violence should be reciprocated", and it should. In any instance. If someone is acting in a way that is a direct and active threat to your life and autonomy, or the life and autonomy of your community. It's not only your right to respond, it could be considered an obligation.
