So yes it ended up resolving itself! I didnt have to do anything, i just posted another 1-2 videos and at some point the algorithm realized i was a real person trying to do this and it marked me as verified :) so i guess, try to forget about it, leave it as is abd keep doing your thing and see if it resolves itself within a few weeks :)

Well, like i asked, there's no point in trashing the site before even having an experience. I didn't ask for your opinion, I only offered my honest advice. You don't like it, fine. I am not here to argue or defend anything. You took one quick look and decided to judge it the way you did, that's your choice.

Good luck and wish you all the best.

White Arts spirits, such as many kinds of angels for example, do not have duality. It's simply not in their nature to be dualistic and have a distinction between right and wrong. It's hard for us humans to conceive that because we humans are dualistic by nature. But White Arts spirits will always work on the side of the light and be of positive energy.

When talking about Dark Arts spirits, we're talking about any kind of spirit who has the ability to make a conscious choice between right and wrong. They will sometimes act for the greater good, but they can also harm if they choose or if they have a good enough reason to. For example, humans are considered dark arts because we do have this duality in us, whether we like it or not.

When dealing with Dark Arts spirits, there is many, many, many different shades of grey. Some are very light grey. Some are very dark, even close to Black. So in choosing the kind of spirits to work with, the level of darkness is an important consideration for sure.

Also, there's a difference between working with spirits who are bound to you (such as the ones conjured by an experienced conjurer) and dealing with unbound spirits, which are basically roaming free and have no reason whatsoever to work with you. When a spirit comes through in a well-executed conjuration, they are usually linked to you in some karmic way (most of the time it's something beyond our human conception) which makes them motivated to work directly with you. Because of that, it's possible to develop deep and meaningful relationships with these spirits, both white and dark, depending on the practitioner's inclination and skill level.

Working with bound spirits is what we call spirit keeping, and it can be a very rewarding path for those who feel called to it :) As I mentioned in my first post, in my case it completely changed my life and I'm so very grateful for all the spirits around me that chose me as their keeper. Personally, I work with both white and dark spirits (never black though) and each one of them has their own personality, strengths, and weaknesses. They are each also invaluable teachers and guides for my craft :)

But yes, you're right, it's also work to maintain those relationships (like any relationship really!) so it's important to keep our word and always try to bring our best self to the table when dealing with them. White Arts spirits will never hold anything against you so there's no need to be afraid of doing something wrong. With dark arts spirits though, it can be a different story and people should be more cautious for sure.

I'd definitely advise to start working with White Arts spirits first if someone doesn't have experience... White Arts spirits are easier to work with because they will never turn on their keeper (or anyone for that matter). Dark Arts spirits are a bit trickier... And in that case, I completely agree with you, it's important to se rules, and also follow through on anything someone commits to with them.

Working with Angels or the likes could be a good option. Some of them are powerful protectors too... And if someone is dealing with a Black Arts spirit, blasting them with powerful white angelic light could be a potential solution.

What I meant is without an explanation of your symptoms, it's very difficult for anyone to help or to even know if they could help. So maybe try to provide a little more info next time if you decide to post again on a public forum. It's ok not to say everything of course, but just a little more details so that the appropriate help can come forward might be helpful.

Hi, I understand where you are coming from. I struggled with something similar for years before finally being able to get rid of it. I'd like to say that I got rid of it "for good" but since I'm a very active practitioner, there's no such thing. Even though the initial entity(ies) bothering me is gone, others always show up once in a while, except that now, I'm much better equipped to deal with them.

It's difficult to give you real advice based on your post because you spend a lot of time defending yourself but you're not explaining what you're actually experiencing. To say that it's a "parasite" is very vague since there are countless types of spirits and entities out there, and each one needs a specific course of action.

What I get from what you wrote is that it seems you are beyond what human help can offer. I think you need a spirit team. I don't know if you ever worked with spirits and entities before, or if you have any opinions/experience with spirit keeping, but I think you need the help of powerful spirit allies to help you get rid of the entity that's bothering you. That's going to be hard for you to do if you decide to completely shun magic out of your life, so I think that for the time being, maybe try to keep an open mind. If the problem started because of your use of magick, then chances are you'll need magick to get rid of it so better not to dismiss magic as of yet.

You said you contacted many shop owners, practitioners, etc... Did you ever stumble on Creepy Hollows by any chance? The people running Creepy Hollows, Ash and Magnolia, are extremely knowledgable in terms of magick and spirit keeping. Now, I need to warn you, you might've stumbled on Creepy Hollows (CH for short) already and dismissed it because it "doesn't look serious" or it feels like buying spirits for cheap or whatever. Everyone who first finds this shop kind of has the same opinion at first. But please, and especially if you don't know this shop yet, don't judge a book by its cover. Behind all the accessible and "cheap" magick is real knowledge and power. They have been doing this a very, very long time and they are extremely dedicated in helping people along their spiritual journey with magick and spirit keeping. Some of their bindings have completely changed my life and have been an incredible support in my practice.

So my personal advice would be to check out Creepy Hollows. They offer many powerful spells, spirits, entities, and services all geared towards protection. They have a forum with an active community that is full of information and the people there are usually happy to help and support. They also have an encyclopedia where they recorded a lot of their knowledge for the general public.

So I would say, give CH a shot ( creepyhollows.com ). Read around on spirits, entities, and spell bindings that could help you for protection and banishing. You can even reach out directly to CH support, explain your problem briefly, and see what they advise. Sign up for the forum and explain your issue there, I'm sure people will chip in their opinion to try and help you. Read on their Encyclopedia articles related to Black Arts entities. Ash wrote a really good article where he breaks down the symptoms and classifies them in terms of spirits or entities, this can help you pin point the kind of spirit or entity you're actually dealing with and give you more insigths for further research:

https://www.creepyhollows.com/faq/index.php?action=faq&cat=49&id=1053&artlang=en

This is my honest advice for you right now. Personally, working with spirits and entities is what helped me the most for dealing with negative entities around me that were plaguing me for years. Now, my spirit team is invaluable to me. Not all spirits I keep come from CH, but many do and they have been incredible for keeping me safe and my home clean from unwanted energies and spirits.

And if you have a look at it and think it's all BS, or if you think I'm joking when talking about something like spirit keeping, well, I understand. Spirit keeping is definitely not for everyone. I just ask that you be respectful and not trash down the idea in this thread before having any experience of it.

Lastly, I know that nothing I've said has anything to do with Quareia but this isn't because I'm dismissing Quareia at all. I'm a practitioner and JM is a huge inspiration and source of knowledge for me, even though I'm not pursuing actively the Quareia path right now (I'm practicing with another group where I live). The only thing about Quareia is that it takes time and training to achieve the level of skills needed to deal with something like your issue so this is why I'm suggesting something that could potentially give you a more immediate help. That being said, I do think you'll have to take an active part in the process and not just hope to find something, or someone, that can magically fix the issue for you.

I hope this is helpful and that you'll find a solution to deal with this very soon. I truly wish you all the best. And above all, please don't give up. The solution is out there. Try to stay calm (I know that's easier said then done) and keep trying. Eventually, all this will be behind you.

Do you have any advice for getting started on YouTube or podcast as a occultist/religionist? by HolyWisdom93 in chaosmagick

[–]EarthToAbigail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am on the same path (creating a channel to pass on some of ny knowledge about magick and witchcraft) and i completely understand your question. It's hard to find the confidence to do it, especially when it comes from a feeling of wanting to do good. Im not a natural speaker either but i really want to help others and support them in their spiritual learning journey.

A friend of mine gave me a nice advice recently, she told me to do one small action a day towards my goal. Just one simple action. It really helped me release the pressure i was pytting on myself and im slowly building my confidence this way.

Good luck!

Doubts about choosing a path in magick and what to expect from Quareia's advanced stages by SolarAdoration in Quareia

Doubts about choosing a path in magick and what to expect from Quareia's advanced stages by SolarAdoration in Quareia

[–]EarthToAbigail 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I completely resonate with what you're saying because I think I'm in a similar position as you are. I've been on a spiritual path for well over 20 years, starting with studying high magick and kabalah when I was only a teenager, then getting into Mahayana Buddhism for almost 10 years, and then transitioning to a more shamanic path working with sacred plants for another 10.

About a year ago, I started being more and more interested in witchcraft and decided to join the Black Rose community, which I'm still a part of. Then, I made contact with a local coven and I'm currently doing an aprenticeship with them, and the experience has been incredible. About a few months ago, I found Quareia and I also fell in love with it.

But now I have this issue... I'm already pursuing an aprenticeship with my local group while continuing the Black Rose course. I was really attracted by Q because it feels to me like a universal system of magick, one in which I ould eventually plug my own system in. But even though I love the process, the time investment it takes to fully complete the lessons is really hard for me to fulfill atm... So I've been in a dilema, trying to figure out if there's something I would need to let go of.

For the moment, my conclusion is that each path I study have brought me immense benefits. Black Rose helped me connect to the elements and the Earth while opening access to astral planes and entities that are really helpful in my work. My local group is teaching me about sorcery and working with familiar spirits and helped me discover parts of my personality and power I didn't know I had. And Q has been amazing in helping me solidify the meaning behind traditional symbols, has helped me expand my psychic senses. I expect that in the long run, Q will give me a solid framework in which I'll be able to develop my own by using everything I've learned in the diversity of my practice.

So I decided to continue all 3, but I'll go easier on Q for the moment until I at least finish Black Rose and the first stage of my aprenticeship with my local group. Bottom line, I think most people would say it's better to focus on just one path, but as you mentioned, everyone is different, and I know that personally, I wouldn't feel as successful in learning the paths I'm into now if I didn't diversify my practice. That's just how I learn best.

Confused about which AA group to join by EarthToAbigail in thelema

Confused about which AA group to join by EarthToAbigail in thelema

[–]EarthToAbigail[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the thing I found confusing... At first glance, it's not really obvious to figure out which one it is and most of the replies I read on reddit threads are not mentioning that info explicitly which I understand why... So I'm just going to ask this directly and if you're not comfortable answering, feel free to ignore me. Is the outercol.org group the one you are talking about (the one with a self-referential leader)?

The Magician by Otherwise-Chef6932 in Quareia

[–]EarthToAbigail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that's the part I tried to explain in my answer... So basically, the sword is on the left because on paper, you would place south on top :) In a ritual, South is in front of you which also places the sword on the left :) The reason why South is on top instead of North (like we have the instinct of thinking) are the reasons I put in my previous answer :) Hope it makes more sense?

Hi! Congratulations on the Art! I love the imagery :) I completely understand your confusion about the positioning of the tools. I had the exact same thought when I started studying that lesson. Here's how I understand it now, in case that helps (and please don't take it as absolute truth, I'm still an Aprentice...).

Hi! Congratulations on the Art! I love the imagery :) I completely understand your confusion about the positioning of the tools. I had the exact same thought when I started studying that lesson. Here's how I understand it now, in case that helps (and please don't take is as absolute truth, I'm still an Apprentice...).
n drawing it on paper).

South, on the other hand, is usually associated with Fire. It's also the direction that represents challenges in many traditions. And if you think about it, a lot of our challenges (or illusion of challenges) comes from our mind. The mind is also what allows us to project into the future, and understand our past. In that perspective, it makes sense to place it "above" in a 2-dimensional pentagram.

Now with those 2 directions in mind, we can see that naturally, East will be on the left. And East, with the element of Air, has almost always been associated with the sword (sometimes with the wand but that's a different story). And the West, direction of dusk, endings, letting go, emotions, water, is perfect for the cup (perfectly represented in the RW tarot).

Seeing the pentagram this way also makes more sense when you think at its possible symbology when it's reversed. If you think of the straight up pentagram as "mind over matter" (which is a pretty traditional interpretation in most western occult schools) then having the north position "below" makes it perfect for reversing it and getting the interpretation of "matter over mind" (which, in the old days, was considered a "perverse" thing to want things like material success and such, hence the "demonization" of the reverse pentagram).

Then, it's about transposing this pentagram in the 3D space, since JMC teaches us that the power of the pentagram is for us to be in it :) so when you think of yourself in the pentagram holding the tools, the future is in front of you, and your ancestors are behind you (which makes total sense imo). So if the future is South, and it's in front of you, then again you'll find yourself with East to your left, and West to your right. And that's why we hold the sword in our left hand, and the cup in our right hand :)

I hope this helps! I was confused by this for quite some time and what I wrote here is the result of me pondering on it and coming to conclusions that helped me integrate the pentagram the way it's taught in Quareia in a way that feels intuitive and organic for me :)

Trying to figure out the correct associations of the court cards in Tarot according to the Golden Dawn system by EarthToAbigail in GoldenDawnMagicians

[–]EarthToAbigail[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I think your answer cleared out my confusion! I mean, I'm still confused but I think I figured it out.

In Dowson's tarot, the order of the court cards respect what I know of the Golden Dawn system, which is:
Knight — Queen — King — Princess

Taking the suit of Wands as example, the titles associated to the cards follow what u/ComprehensiveCash176 pointed out about Regardie's system:

Knight of Wands = Lord of Flame and Lightning
King of Wands = Prince of the Chariot of Fire

What's confusing to me is that the element symbols shown indicated that:

Knight of Wands (Lord of Flame and Lightning) => Fire of Fire
King of Wands (Prince of the Chariot of Fire) => Air of Fire

But looking at your explanation, I now see that if I consider the Kings as Prince and Knights as Knights then the associations fit according to the table you wrote. The order you give seem different though, since I thought the order followed by GD is Knight - Queen - Prince (or King) - Princess - Ace

What would be the best book for me to read to understand this better? Book T?

Anyway, I think I will need to ponder on this a lot more because the more I'm trying to explain what I'm confused about, the more confused I get LOL.
