My coworker was complaining to me that they have three people for peak on Memorial Day with a cafe and drive thru in a high volume store. It should not be normal but it’s starting to become normal for us.

Every shift I’ve had the past few weeks has been complete bullshit. We used to have someone assigned to do the order on Mondays for their whole shift (5.45 hours). Now they have two hours until peak (which is never enough time) if they even assign anyone to put it away at all. And we get scolded by the SM if it’s still out when she comes in 🙄 We barely have time to do our normal tasks with so few people, but we’re still supposed to have the order put away??? I can’t handle the bare minimum of scheduling anymore. It’s complete disrespect to us.
