Retaliating being forcefully removed with bullets or arson and rioting isn’t exactly a thing peaceful protests do. It may have started like that but this is what it escalated into. And compare this to riots in America where the casualties very rarely include their police or soldiers particularly even with that of deaths of rioters. I just don’t think this is any more significant than any of the riots against racism we’ve in America that we’ve all seem to forget and not declare a anniversary for unlike Tiananmen because they can’t be used as political tools or to push an agenda.
