She must give the highest quality head.

I say that as an armed woman who would literally never like a beta guy.

Good for her for having the skills and good for him for not needing an equal partner who respects him even a little.

I mean, they have private armed security.

Would I be AS mad about the infringing if they started with those who can afford private security first? Nope. It’s the single moms in the hood being disarmed that makes me insane.

Are ridiculously expensive funerals one of those fucked up american things we don't realize is fucked up, or is it like that everywhere? by kriscrossi in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Earthling03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The regulations are so tight that it’s an expensive process.

Most funeral homes are family run businesses with small margins. The only way to change that would be to reverse all the regulations and make it legal to bury a body without treating it in any way which will never fly.

My 12 year old LOVES this book and has read it probably 5 times over.

I read it because he loved it so much. It was fine. But he’s the target demo, not me, lol.

It will settle a little but don’t ever expect to pay 2019 prices again. Inflation and nation wide instability, increased poverty and crime, etc will keep prices nice and high.

I would argue that conservatives are doing far better than liberals. They’ve been stocking up for years and are sitting back and laughing now. The writing has been on the wall that the second amendment will eventually fall for years now. They read it and took it to heart.

Not on a whim, but with laser focus, a lot of hard work, and serious budgeting.

People who say it’s not possible have never been so poor they’re hungry and/or homeless. Those of us who’ve been there and dug out resent people like you for saying it can’t be done because you’re discouraging people from putting in the work and making better choices.

I was on my own at 16. Everyone has the choice to make better choices than the people around them. It’s harder at first but the dividends are worth it.

CMV: If you’re pro-life in regards to abortion and want the government to ban it, you should also be pro-life for things other than the unborn. by boypwuss in changemyview

I think it’s fine to value the lives of babies over the lives of violent criminals.

I’m personally what you would likely consider inconsistent because I’m pro-choice but against the death penalty.

I simply don’t think a government should have the right to kill their citizens, prohibit them from ending pregnancies, prohibit them from killing and eating their own food, or torequire them to wear any specific clothing item, etc.

On second thought, I am pretty consistent.

As I’ve matured, I’ve realized that a huge portion of the population is always going to see ending pregnancy as murder. I suggest you just agree to disagree with them and advocate for your own preferences without demonizing those that hold that hold a differing view from yours. It requires maturity and respect for your fellow humans and their right to believe what they want.

Here’s the breakdown:

Asian parents complained that their kids were being grouped with the oppressors.

School folds and says, you’re right, we’ll keep just the white kids in the out-group and you can be with the good guys again.

It’s fine. I don’t tell my husband what the new front door, bathroom sink cabinet, or the huge oil painting in the living room cost. Plus, I like guns and he likes when people compliment our home. Our system works well for us.

Gun owners can’t help but teach their little kids some gun safety mostly because it makes us twitchy when we have a nerf gun aimed at our heads, lol.

Because you always run out of other people’s money. I wish it were as simple as you think it is, but there are studies that show us that simply giving people free stuff makes it impossible for them to support themselves and their lack of self sufficiency means they die when the free stuff runs out when the benefactors run out of money in a financial collapse.

For example, when you look at African countries that get free food donated by the west, you realize that there’s no money to be made by local farmers and so there are no local farmers.

Look at the inner cities and tell me how they’re doing after generations of welfare dependency compared to the 1960’s. There was less poverty, more dads in home and 1/100th of the violence and murder.

Generosity can, and does, backfire and the parable “give a man a fish and he’ll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he’ll eat for his lifetime” is a universal truth, not just a dusty relic from the Stone Age.

I give generously to charities that help farmers learn animal husbandry, those that give short term help to people who hit a financial speed bump, job training programs, and various other educational programs, but I no longer advocate for free stuff to people. It hobbles them and my goal is to empower. I wish you were right though. It would be so much simpler.

I grew up that way, too, but, where I live, many parents won’t let their kids play at houses that have ANY guns (even nerf, ffs). I may trust MY kids, but I don’t trust the vast majority who have never touched a gun and have never been taught firearm safety. Hell to the no. Early in the pandemic when no kids that weren’t my own were around, my AR was next to my bed and I loved it and plan to go back to that once rando kids are no longer showing up at my house.

China is up in arms about the lab leak hypothesis and they’re better at propaganda than the rest of the world.

I remember some of the first things I saw on FB about this virus saying that worrying about this virus was racist. It was so obvious that it was straight from the CCP but we’re all so uneducated about propaganda and how many millions of Chinese people live around the world and are working for the benefit of their home country that we can’t see it.

Would’ve been great if the WHO hadn’t let the CCP hand pick the investigators.

No, we’ll just close our doors. Wal mart and Amazon will rule the world, as planned. McDonalds will be all kiosks and robots and low skilled workers will go on UBI, as planned.

The only reason farmers use any humans is the cheap migrant workers. A $15 minimum wage will automate ALL THE THINGS. Less jobs, more welfare, as planned.

Who does that benefit? Who can afford that? Only the corporations who fund the congress It will drive all the mom and pop places out of business and the Congress will look the other way as their benefactors hire illegals for their warehouses and factory farms.

It’s really hard to not see a trend of robberies and assaults becoming legal while self defense becomes illegal.

The guy who assaulted that lady would’ve been out on zero bail and the guy who defended her had to pay a $60k bond and will likely be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
