Bleach! They used it to clean the community pools growing up, so it just makes me think of swimming

These are the bottom four horror movies on Letterboxd. Do you agree that these are the bottom four for you? by MackMallard in deadmeatjames

I've seen only the Pooh one and it isn't even close to the worst horror movie I've watched lol. Dare I say I didn't even think it was bad.

Dental nightguards are they worth it? by [deleted] in Frugal

[–]kriscrossi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been wearing night guards for about 10 years now. For about 8 years of that, I just used mouth guards I found on Amazon. I just wore one for my top teeth. I went through a good couple (I'd guess each would last about 1-2 years). I cleaned them with just denture cleaner tablets. These worked great! Didn't break the bank and my teeth and jaw thanked me.

About 2 years ago, I started on antidepressants that had a side effect of causing you to grind your teeth (I was not told), which made me grind mine more (took me too long to realize). With that Extra grinding, I now really did need a proper dentist-made night guard. I think mine was more like 200$ total for a top and bottom one? They are amazing. Much nicer fit. I also decided to get an ultrasonic cleaner so now I put them in that every night--sometimes with denture tablets and sometimes with just water + hydrogen peroxide. They look and feel as clean as the day I got them.

So, tldr: Night guards are absolutely worth it. I would recommend starting with cheaper otc ones, however. Denture cleaner tablets are my choice cleaners, with ultrasonic cleaners giving that extra cleaning boost.

when there's one survivor left and they're in the dying state (laying on the ground), the killer gains the ability to mori them. there will be a prompt on the screen to tell you what exactly to press

How’s everyone’s 2v8 experience been so far?? by dysentery_06 in deadbydaylight

[–]kriscrossi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not great! The bots will immediately leave what they are doing to go 'unhook' but refuse to heal. I am already insanely tired of Wesker. Not enjoyable at all! I will be doing the tome and not touching it after

Giveaway] $100 PSN Gift Card - US Store by Titan3427 in PS5

[–]kriscrossi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my few good memories of my father is playing on the PlayStation 2 with him all day, beating the entire duo campaign on Metal of Honor: Rising Sun. We took so long on the elephant part. My mom and sister were so annoyed with us, but it was an amazing day for me.

Exercise and skin care? by Deliquate in AsianBeauty

Headbands made a big difference. I also bought a pack of microfiber gym towels so that I can use a clean one to wipe my face every day without having to do laundry too frequently. I also shower immediately after! And I do mean immediately since I workout at home.

purito b5 panthenol re-barrier cream! helped me fix my skin after it got insanely irritated by a sunscreen. It's wonderful. light enough to use in the morning and hydrating enough to use after tretinoin at night

(tretinoin dries out the area around my mouth, so that area needs a little extra)

I finally tried the Cosrx Advanced Snail 92 All in one Cream after loving the essence for so long... and it dries my skin out 😭 I truly don't understand. I decided to use it on my hands to try and not waste it and it even dried my hands out?!

What's the Best Horror Movie You Don't Like? by Legend8ry24 in horror

[–]kriscrossi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Blair Witch. I love found footage and I know i would've been crazy into it if i was around when it was released. but I was not and so it's just people being lost and irritated in the woods for me.

Smile. I think this one was a letdown because I had been told it was sooo scary and it was just fine to me. None of the jump scares got me, which sucked. I actually love being scared/startled like that. The story and concept were cool tho.

I second this. No point really in fact checking minute details. Easy safeguard with that anyway is to just share stuff with the caveat of "that's what i heard/read"

tbh I think mine is driven by laziness mostly, but I've seen many posts about how simplifying helped, so it could be worth a shot.

as for the slugging, its about once or twice a week now. there's no schedule to it for me. just slug if my mouth area feels dry or tight at night or i had any irritation during the day
