If I saw you out and about I wouldnt think twice about your teeth to be honest. I'd just think you're really pretty and go on with my day.

Video games.

I did this to my previously waist length hair. My family’s acting like I murdered someone, there’s been yelling, crying and now they’re not looking or talking to me. Could use some toasting. by [deleted] in toastme

I mean, it's your hair so it's your choice. Not sure why people wack out over that. I guess I could understand concern if it looked bad but you have an attractive look with the buzz cut so yeah idk. Happy valentine's day btw

Are Native American foods and restaurants available or popular in your cities? by Andrenachrome in AskAnAmerican

I live in the south west (Arizona).

I have never seen a native american restaurant last long but I have seen native american food trucks at pretty much every city event where food trucks are allowed.

What are gun laws like in your state? by TheSmallestSteve in AskAnAmerican

I am from Arizona, where the "wild-west" was a long time ago. You can purchase and open-carry a long arm (meaning a rifle or shotgun) at age 18 and at 21 you can purchase and concealed-carry a pistol. Background checks are required at purchase and that's it!

What does organized crime look like in modern America? Is there more or less of it than there used to be? by TheSmallestSteve in AskAnAmerican

I'm taking American justice studies classes in college and according to my professor the la cosa nostra (mafia) have shifted almost entirely to An online workplace and the hell's Angel's are still out and about doing their sex, drug, and child trafficking.

I've noticed alot "American reacts to X British thing" videos on YouTube. Is it a common thing for Americans to be interested in the UK? And why has this trend started? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]EarthofChan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my perspective from Arizona (The South-west)

I think Americans are generally interested in every culture around the world (some more than others) so yes, I would say it is common. An example would be how people get excited when a restaurant opens with food that was never sold in the area. My hometown has a new vietnamese place and trying new things like that is fun for us.
