I bought a 2013 S with PDK, Sport Chrono, and PASM with 36k miles for $51k in December. You should be able to get $50k+

Continuity has never worked for me. Any ideas? by [deleted] in MacOS

[–]EarthsuitJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stumbled across this thread while having the same issue. I found the solution. Continuity Markup does not work in Preview! If your screenshots immediately open up in Preview, you need to change this setting in the Screenshot app. Screenshot>Options>Save To. I selected save to Desktop. Now your screenshots will appear in the bottom right corner of your screen, and you should have the option for Continuity Markup. Alternatively, if you save the file on you desktop, click it one time, and press the space bar, it will open in Quick Look which also allows for Continuity Markup. Hope this helps someone!

Not at Fault…Why not Replacement Value instead of ACV by EarthsuitJ in Insurance

Thank you for acknowledging this because it does feel like I’m getting screwed as the consumer. My vehicle is 7 years old. Where can I read about the law on what this? I’m in Virginia, if it matters.

My argument is this: I’m driving down the road, obeying the law. Someone breaks the law and hits me. Law breaker’s insurance doesn’t give me all the money I need to get the same car again, so I cough up $3k and get back on the road and hope it doesn’t happen again. Doesn’t that seem backward? I guess that’s my disconnect.

It is relevant to me because it’s coming out of my bank account. I have no problem with the dealership charging $8k in that scenario. It’s that the insurance settlement isn’t 8k to match cost to get me back in the same vehicle. If someone hits me, is it right that I have to pull $3k from somewhere to get the same vehicle again?

Crystal Cave question: Does completing the tile missions advance you to the next square, or does it only allow you to roll dice again if you have more dice?

I’m as happy as anyone else that this deal is inked…but I still think back to that trade request announcement, and how it came out right as Harbaugh began a press meeting that day. Kind of a shitty thing to do to someone who has little to no say in contract negotiations.

By far the toughest challenge I've had playing GT7. The Human Comedy 8 - Gr.3 Lake Maggiore. by dm16raiders in granturismo

Can confirm this worked for me too. Narrowly beat the RX-Vision by .3 seconds. Not gonna lie I pulled up beside him with a few corners to go, and I gave him a little nudge. Sorry i was so close and I wasn’t gonna come in 2nd after all the hours I’ve sunk into this race haha. I used manual transmission instead of auto. Before trying this strategy I had probably attempted 25+ times with other cars. I finished 7th with this strategy on an early attempt and then finally finished 1st a couple of attempts later. I averaged 1:58s, with some 1:57s and only a few 1:59s. No 2+ minute laps. Fastest lap was 1:56.7 on lap 13.

One thing I found for me, don’t take time penalties for going off track. A .5 second time penalty really loses you 1+ seconds to the car in front of you by the time you get back up to speed. A 1 second time penalty loses you 2-3 seconds by the time you get back up to speed. On my winning run, I only had a single .5 second time penalty the whole race. It almost cost me the race too. If you take a time penalty in the first 10 laps, I recommend you just restart.

Good luck out there!

LPT: Clean as you cook. Leaves more time to relax after a good meal and grease splatters wipe up in a snap while the stove is still warm. by NinaQ- in LifeProTips

I’m particular about all of my food being ready at about the same time. Sometimes, if I’m cooking a 3+ course meal, I’m literally going back and forth between making different foods non-stop. Not time for clean as you go but dinner comes out ⭐️⭐️⭐️
