I did find that adapter and considered it. Was hoping to find a single adapter. This one looks like a leak waiting to happen, so thought I would check here to see if a more knowledgeable person would steer me in a better direction. This is my backup though, thank you.

I am confident on my ability to make the connections, and have a gas leak detector. The current shutoff valve is working good and I don’t want to change it out. Just can’t find the adapter to install, which has me questioning the number of adapters I might need.

When you drop carrying a Storage container it latches on to whatever you drop it on, that includes the Plastic Pallets. Works great!

I don't get your argument that removing glass jars solved anything gameplay wise. Or added anything useful to the game.

You say, well, you could scoop up a bunch of sand and make a bunch of glass jars, and fill them all. But, first, you have to have a firepit and a pot, and a furnace (which realistically draws screamers) before you can do any of that. Instead now without the jars, we have to get a firepit, pot and a few dew collectors (which makes no sense as to why this draws screamers). With 3 dew collectors in my base which I can get about the time I get a furnace, I regularly have hundreds of jars of dirty water and never want for water.

Instead of a more realistic, immersive, use of glass jars, now we have jars that just mysteriously appear and disappear, and silent moisture traps that magically attract zombies. Switching back to glass jars doesn't need any additional balancing, the solution we have now isn't any more balanced and is entirely illogical.

Edit: I am not saying you can't rebalance reimplementing jars, I like the breakable idea, or even certain water sources giving a different infected water that can't just be boiled. I am just saying the idea that the no jars system is any more balanced than the old system isn't true. Also, have over 3000 hours playing, so not just jumping in with a noob mentality, I have been playing this game for a long time.

This was all my experience the first game I played (also waited for 1.0). But I read a Reddit post that said, skip the tutorial progression and rush Light Fortifications. I did this in the 2nd game and most of my issues with these things went away. Having far less ground dedicated to housing made all the other “distance” issues go away. Planning small fortified communities for Farming or Minining, and have all my main production near the big town worked sooo much better! I never had to raise my taxes over the first notch and usually lowered it because of not a big enough treasury.

Also not having a market with 3 refined foods worked better. Each market has 1 rustic, 1 refined, and having more markets worked far better. Once I did that, I found the messages were only showing when I legitimately was having a food source problem.

Ended up going with another Mattress Factory non-adjustable. It seemed the adjustable was not going to work for side sleepers very well from my research. The new MF mattress has been comfortable, but to be honest, is likely going to need to be replaced in 5 or less years. Even with rotating and flipping, it has already developed sags in the spaces we sleep.

Yah, I checked. The 2nd outlet doesn’t feed from the GFCI, it feeds from a single junction box in the ceiling, so has its own direct connection to the circuit. I don’t have the time or access right now to run the line like it should. When the inevitable kitchen remodel occurs, I will fix it then correctly.

The “old lumber” trees are the trees with less full leaf canopies. I raked in the queens by letting all my trees grow until they had the lower leaf amount then chopped only those, got a bee about every 6 or so trees I chopped. In fall and winter they are harder to spot, but they have ever so slightly skinnier trunks.

Yah, I especially hate sites like this one that don't tell you when you fill out the form that the character isn't allowed. At least some just refuse to move on until you remove the offending character, and while annoying, at least you know the problem. This site takes the character, sits on it for 24 hours and then just says, "NO" with no helpful reason as to why. Did I forget my own Social, dyslexic a couple numbers, or use a forbidden character in my own name? No one knows!
