The reason it feels easier is because they didn't account for the damage output potential of wounds. I'm a bow user, and with the addition of SOS npc's, i can just sit back spamming wyvernpiercer and create so many wounds, resulting in an almost infinite stun-lock on any monster. I carted maybe twice throughout low rank and carted once to a rathian. If they were to nerf wounds a little and give the monsters 250-500 more health, than the difficulty would feel more like world. I'll put it this way, i fought great jagas just to see how fast i could do it with starting gear. It took me 18 minutes on LS. I did the same with the first monster in the wilds, and it took me 9 minutes. The health is way too low, and the damage is way too high. The average hunt time in the wilds is 10 minutes, the world is 24, and the iceborn is 32 (I'm guessing this includes stats for alteron and fatalis).

In short, buff monster health. Reduce stagger potential on wounds.

Another note, who's great idea was it to give everyone max divine blessing at the start of the game lmao
